Based on the study of biblical literature at home and abroad, this paper combines the study of noumenon with the study of influence and interprets chapters 1-3 of Genesis as a whole. In terms of ontological research,it is mainly explored at the level of narrative poetics and values. At the level of narrative poetics,it analyzes the author and text, genre and literature, narrator, character, plot, time, space and rhetoric of the text to appreciate the subtlety and timelessness of the biblical style, the sublime and solemnity of the purpose, the elegance and beauty of the language and the richness of the technique;at the level of values,it explores the cultural concepts from the mythological text and expands them to the concepts of creation and origin, time and life and death, knowledge and good and evil,human-god relationship and gender relationship, and understands its broad and deep theological concepts and cultural values. In terms of influence research, chapter 1-3 of Genesis is regarded as the mother text of composition study, focusing on the analysis of the image of wisdom tree and snake, and how the themes of Eden, crime and temptation, destiny and free will are constantly reproduced, transferred and misappropriated in the context of British and American literary tradition. Then, the western literary tradition from the perspective of Christian culture is combed as a whole, presenting the ideological context of the struggle between humanism and religious rationality, exploring the rewriting of the original theme of the Bible in the western modernity texts of the 20 th century, and taking the text of the wasteland as an example,in the Christian mainline of “sin, hell, salvation”,analyzing the “lost garden” through the biblical allusions and images in the wasteland, modern wasteland, erotic hell,Jesus’ martyrdom and God’s salvation and other scenes, this paper explores the possibility of Christian salvation in the world of faith loss from T.S.Eliot’s inner wasteland.
