On The Social Responsibility Consciousness Of Scholars In The Late Ming Dynasty From The Perspective Of Note Novelsby

Wang Tonggui was a famous scholar in Huangzhou area in the late Ming Dynasty.He wrote a lot and had a certain position in the literary circle at that time.In his early years,under the influence of family and social customs,he traveled in many places,made friends with many literati,increased a lot of knowledge,and laid a solid foundation for his literary writing.After the scientific research examination,he was disadvantageous to come to small officials at all levels.The unsmooth career and the influence of his family made him very uneasy about all kinds of social changes under the development of commodity economy in the late Ming Dynasty.In order to give full play to his literary talent,Wang Tonggui created er Tan and ER Tan Lei Zeng.Based on the analysis of Er Tan and ER Tan Lei Zeng,this paper finds that the book embodies the author’s strong sense of social responsibility: he moralizes the book and criticizes the social reality,which plays a role in guiding the public opinion and social ethos.At that time,a large number of creators of classical Chinese novels,such as Shen Linqi,Feng Menglong and Ling Mengchu,their works are the same.Because these novels were popular at that time and received a wide audience,they affected the social atmosphere to a certain extent and maintained social justice.played a role in guiding the social atmosphere to a certain extent.Social responsibility refers to the behavior that a scholar with noble moral character controls,governs and adjusts the local society through his own words and deeds,or just intervenes in the major national decision-making and political struggle.Therefore,this paper expounds Wang Tongdao’s sense of social responsibility from four aspects.First of all,in the context of the great changes in the late Ming society,there were changes in the ethos of the scholars,many of whom were engaged in business,escaping from Zen and enjoying luxury.On the one hand,such changes would promote the development of local economy and local culture,on the other hand,the social ethos of luxury and enjoyment also corrupted the sense of social responsibility of the scholars,leading to the lack of social responsibility of some ofthem.Secondly,Wang Tongyi was born in an official family.His family’s good education made him always have a good sense of the responsibility of the scholars.His experience of serving as a junior official in a local place made him realize the social reality,and finally prompted him to moralize people and express his feelings of loneliness and anger by writing oton and oton.At the same time,oton and oton were published at that time Society has had an important impact.Thirdly,Wang Tongyi maintains the ethics of loyalty,filial piety,festival and righteousness,criticizes the social reality,attracts readers with "strange" and lures people with "profit" to guide the public opinion,and maintains the social order to reflect his social responsibility consciousness.Finally,the oton and the oton category increase written by Wang Tongshi attracted many scholars to follow the example,such as the continuation of oton,Sanyan and Erpai.These works reflect the social responsibility of the authors.Because these works were extremely popular in the society at that time and had many readers,they played a role in guiding the public opinion and changing the social atmosphere to a certain extent.
