The Study Of Zhang Dai's "Culture Responsibility"

Zhang Dai was honored as a cultural masterpiece in Ming and Qing dynasties because of his literature.In his early life,he was a macaroni due to the influence by that circumstances of the family and the society.However,thanks to his academic atmosphere in the family and sense of mission,he had strong sense of commitment to “cultural responsibility”.After the Ming dynasty,Zhang Dai assumed the "cultural responsibility"."Cultural responsibility" refers to the ideological consciousness and behavior of the intellectuals to assume cultural responsibility in the Ming and Qing dynasties.Based on the investigation of Zhang Dai's whole life and cultural achievements,this paper explores Zhang Dai's expression of cultural responsibility through his thought,behavior,talent and so on.The discussion of Zhang Dai's "Cultural responsibility" is mainly reflected in four aspects: First,it is the protection of cultural heritage.Zhang Dai likes traveling but not to be limited to viewing.With a high sense of responsibility,he wrote poems for some of attractions.Meanwhile,he also protected and renovated the cultural landscape for restoring it to original appearance and revitalizing it.Also,He excavated cultural connotation by combining the characteristics of the dynasty,which gave the scenic spots vitality.Moreover,it allows this spirit,memory and emotion to inherit,and then it can spread in the future.Second,it's the innovation of literature.Zhang Dai insisted on his true temperament and stressed the quintessence and connection of afflatus in his literary creation.On the basis of inheriting traditional literary genres,he innovated in prose,poetry and opera,which promoted the new development of late Ming literature.Third,it is the complex of writing history for Ming dynasty.After the Ming dynasty,lived as a adherent of a former dynasty and realized his responsibility,he decided writing history for Ming dynasty.Not only he persisted the history of Ming dynasty,but also inherited the literature of Hang.Finally,it is appreciating county gentleman and advocating ethics.Zhang Dai is a person who advocates loyalty and filial piety,and most of his works are recorded loyal and righteous people.First of all,he recorded county gentlemen to encourage future generations by writing biographies,epitaph,and funeral oration.Then Zhang Dai advocated filial piety which came from advocating ethics.As a result,he spread the spirit of righteousness to educate people.The end,With his sense of crisis and critical spirit,he showed his concern for talents in the country.The ultimate purpose of Zhang Dai's series of "cultural responsibilities" is to preserve and continue China's excellent traditional culture.
