Research On Novels Of “Rural Women In City” In The New Century

In recent decades,a process of urbanization in modern sense had been launched in China,and it continued ever since.This process had also been shown in novels.In 1990s,with the increase of their number and theattention they received,migrant women from the rural area were written by more writers,and the novels of"rural women in city"had taken on richvariations.This article will focus on the image of"rural women in city"study mainly and explain it through three aspects.Firstly,to analysis the development of"rural women in city"novel writing since the May 4~thh movement,and the changes in content,writingdirection,artistic style,phased feature and other aspects of"rural women in city"novel writing in the new century.Secondly,to explore the relationship between the migrant women,thecity and the rural area,revealing the oppression of women in rural patriarchy,and to reveal the rebellion of patriarchy in rural areas and the establishment and deconstruction of imagination to the city in the process of"entering the city from rural area".Thirdly,to analysis the interpersonal relationship of the migrant women.First,to launch a discussion around the primary relationship of the migrantwomen,including that between their sisters/townships,then the sexualrelations cross the urban and rural areas and analyze the two types of male images that are closely related to"rural women in city",and finally the fate of migrant women in the marriage relationship.The conclusion of this article will point out the shortcomings and limitations of this subject since the new century,and makes a simple prediction for potential writing.
