With the rapid development of social economy and the acceleration of the construction of new urbanization in China,a new group of urban migrant children has emerged.Studying the development law and influencing factors of social emotional ability of migrant children in urban areas can promote their physical and mental health,enhance social adaptation and reduce bad behavior.Compared with the middle school stage,the development of social emotional ability of urban migrant children in primary school stage has its own development characteristics,and has a strong plasticity.From the perspective of ecological psychology,starting from the micro and intermediate ecosystems,this study uses theoretical and empirical research methods to reveal the basic characteristics of the development of social emotional ability and the relevant influencing factors,and employs group psychological intervention techniques and methods to implement social emotional ability intervention on the experimental group,and to investigate how to promote the development of social emotional ability of migrant children in urban areas.The results are displayed and the concrete and operable educational methods are put forward in order to provide basis and guidance for the educational practice of improving the social emotional ability of migrant children in urban areas.This study includes the following parts: Study 1: Using self-compiled demographic scale and Delaware Social Emotional Ability Scale in Chinese version,interpersonal relationship scale and parents' attitudes towards children's emotional expression scale as research tools,taking urban migrant children and their parents as research objects,to explore the development of social emotional ability of urban migrant children,as well as interpersonal relationship and parents' meta-emotional psychology.The influence of mind on the development of social emotional ability.Study 2: On the basis of study 1,the experimental group and the control group were selected for group psychological counseling.The control group did not accept the intervention,and the effect of group psychological intervention technology on children's social emotional ability was investigated.The results of this study are as follows:(1)The development level of social emotional ability of urban migrant children is generally lower than that of urban resident children.(2)The development level of social emotional ability of migrant children in urban areas does not increase with age,and does not vary with gender.(3)Floating children in urban areas have lower supportive relationship with head teachers and teachers,and higher negative relationship with homosexual friends.(4)Mother's meta-emotional concept of migrant children in urban areas is more acceptable.(5)The supportive relationships between urban migrant children and their mothers,head teachers and deskmates are positively correlated with social emotional competence,while the negative relationships with mothers,fathers,head teachers and teachers are negatively correlated with social emotional competence.(6)Mother's meta-emotional concept of urban migrant children is negatively correlated with the self-management dimension of social emotional competence,while mother's negative emotional control is negatively correlated with peer relationship.(7)The negative relationship with the head teacher and the concept of mother's meta-emotion have a negative predictive effect on social emotional ability,and the supportive relationship with the head teacher and the same-sex friends has a positive predictive effect on social emotional ability.(8)After the group counseling training of social emotional ability,the difference of social emotional ability between the experimental group and the control group is significant,indicating that group psychological intervention technology has a good effect on improving social emotional ability.This study draws the following conclusions:(1)The social emotional ability of urban migrant children is generally lower than that of urban resident children,and does not grow with age,and there is no gender difference;the interpersonal relationship in school is worse than that of urban resident children;the concept of mothers' meta-emotions is more acceptable.(2)The development of social emotional ability of migrant children in urban areas is influenced by both school and family.On the school side,supportive interpersonal relationships between teachers and homosexual friends can promote the development of social emotional competence,while negative interpersonal relationships between teachers have a negative effect on the development of social emotional competence;on the family side,mothers tend to accept emotions expressed by their children and have a negative effect on the development of social emotional competence.The influence of school is far greater than that of family.(3)Group psychological counseling can effectively improve children's social emotional ability.
