| This is a report on the translation of Loan Agreement.The source text contains a lot of grammatical metaphor,especially adjectivization which complicates the whole text and brings challenge to the author’s translation.Thus,this report focuses on the translation of adjectivization of Loan Agreement.First,the definition and classification of adjectivization are introduced in the report.Then,several translation techniques including literal translation,transposition,and amplification are proposed in translating adjectivization based on previous study and the author’s practice.The author hopes that the translation report could offer reference and insights to the translation of adjectivization in legal English. |
