English is a highly communicating subject.As one variety of ESP(English for Special Purposes),the teaching goal of business English major is to cultivate versatile talents who can communicate skillfully in English and have solid business professional knowledge,so as to meet the needs of China’s reform,opening up and the development of market economy.For students majoring in business English,excellent classroom communication activities are conducive to the generation of efficient classes,thus making the classroom teaching effect twice the result with half the effort.However,through the author’s internship,it is found that there are many problems in the current business English classroom communication activities in secondary vocational schools.In the actual classroom teaching,the quality of classroom communication activities often fails to achieve ideal effect.Therefore,based on the current situation of business English classroom communication activities in H school in C city,the author tries to analyze the causes of the problems existing in business English classroom communication activities in H school and puts forward some targeted solutions.This study uses the literature method to analyze the research status of domestic and foreign scholars on classroom communication activities,defines the relevant core concepts,and provides the corresponding theoretical basis for the future investigations.Through the investigation of teachers,students and classroom observation,the author can find out the views of students and teachers of business English major in H school of C city on the current business English classroom communication activities,analyze the problems existing in the business English classroom communication activities in secondary vocational schools,find out the reasons for the problems and put forward some countermeasures.This paper is mainly composed of the following parts:The first part is the introduction of this paper,this part mainly makes a brief introduction to the research background,research purpose and research significance of this thesis,analyzes and introduces the current research situation related to English classroom communication activities at home and abroad,and discusses the research value and research methods of this thesis.The second part includes the core concepts and theoretical basis.The author mainlydefines the concepts of classroom activities and classroom communicative activities and expounds the relevant theories used in this paper.The third part describes the current situation of classroom communication activities in H school in C city through the analysis of teacher questionnaire,student questionnaire,teacher interview and student interview.The fourth part through the analysis of the survey results,from the three aspects of the design,implementation,evaluation and reflection of the classroom communication activities,this paper summarizes the problems existing in English classroom communication activities in H school in C city.The fifth part mainly analyzes the reasons for the problems in the current business English classroom communication activities in H school from the school,the teacher,the student and other aspects.The sixth part puts forward some suggestions on the causes of the problems in the business English classroom communication activities in H school of C city.
