| In the classroom teaching process,the two-way interaction between teachers and students is emphasized to encourage students to participate in the classroom.Classroom questioning is an important part of students’ participation in the classroom,and effective classroom questioning is also an important way to improve the effect of classroom teaching.Business English teachers in secondary vocational schools should give full play to the advantages of classroom questioning,encourage students to actively participate in the classroom,create a good classroom teaching atmosphere,and improve students’ learning enthusiasm and initiative.Teachers must reasonably and properly use classroom questioning to carry out teaching.This research is guided by comprehensible input-output hypothesis theory and constructivism theory,and takes the business English class of a secondary vocational school in J city of S province as the research object.Through the methods of literature,questionnaire,interview and classroom observation,this research investigates the current situation of business English teachers’ classroom questioning in secondary vocational schools,finds out the problems existing in business English teachers’ classroom questioning in secondary vocational schools and explores the causes of the problems.In view of the problems existing in the classroom questioning methods,question types,questioning objects,waiting time and questioning feedback of business English teachers in secondary vocational schools,some improvement suggestions are put forward.The suggestions include making good preparation for questioning before class and reflection after class,establishing advanced teaching concepts,establishing democratic teacher-student relationship with students,strengthening the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of business English teachers,improving the classroom questioning behavior of business English teachers in secondary vocational schools,creating harmonious and interesting classroom teaching and learning environment,and enhancing the enthusiasm of learners.At the same time,I hope this study can provide reference for the effective questioning of business English teachers in secondary vocational schools. |
