As a kind of unstable psychology in the process of language learning,language anxiety is regarded by researchers as an important emotional factor affecting second language acquisition.Business English Listening and Speaking Class is the key to the organic integration of language input and extraction skills,with the ultimate goal of improving communicative competence.In this link,learners are easily bored because they can’t understand or miss listening to the key information,which directly affects the learners’ output.The purpose of this study is to investigate the current situation of students’ language anxiety in Business English listening and speaking class,analyze the degree and characteristics of anxiety,and provide corresponding teaching strategies.The quality of English teaching is improved and achieve the purpose of cultivating practical talents for the country.Based on the interactive teaching theory,affective teaching psychology theory and input-output theory,this study takes the students majoring in Business English of five Secondary vocational schools in H Province as the research object.Through the methods of literature,questionnaire,interview and classroom observation,it analyzes the classroom teaching of business English major in secondary vocational schools.After corresponding statistical analysis of the obtained data,it is found that business English majors in secondary vocational school have moderate language anxiety,but there is no significant gender difference,but there are differences in grades and student sources,and each has its own focus.For example,the degree of first-year students’ oral English anxiety is higher,while the second-grade students have higher degree of listening anxiety.In addition,students’ self-cognition affects the degree of language anxiety,showing an inverted U-shaped upward trend.What’s more,the research result shows that listening anxiety and speaking anxiety have a certain correlation.That is the higher the degree of listening anxiety,the higher the degree of oral anxiety.Finally,language anxiety has different effects on business English listening and speaking ability from different dimensions.According to the data and relevant information,it is suggested to adjust business English Majors’ language anxiety from the following five aspects: adjusting the evaluation mechanism to promote the positive transformation of language anxiety;adjust the teaching methods to adapt to the actual situation of students;change the form of questioning to guide students to know themselves correctly;improve the efficiency of business English listening and speaking by skill teaching;to create a harmonious teaching situation to weaken the influence of language anxiety dimension.
