Heading To Honghu Lake

The 1950 s and 1960 s were the peak period for the creation of new China’s revolutionary historical paintings.This article from the old professor of guangzhou academy of fine arts Yun mind pale(1932-),created in 1955 as China’s revolutionary military museum "dawn",the central academy of fine arts in 1963 oil painting research class graduation creation "red",this paper discusses Yun mind pale honghu plot in the revolutionary history painting,and his revolution history painting style and creation concept.Yun qi cang was devoted to the creation of revolutionary historical paintings all his life.His two historical paintings with the theme of honghu revolution have been widely recognized by the academic circle and are important works that established his status as a historical painter.In these two works,we can not only see the characteristics of revolutionary realism that is deep in the field and experiences the life in the flood of Chinese revolutionary historical paintings in the 1950 s and 1960 s,but also can see the grand narrative and historical sense influenced by the su school oil paintings,but also have the personal characteristics of yunqigang in terms of composition and technique of expression.
