Shaanxi Revolutionary History Paintings Study

The Chinese painting belonged to revolutionary history theme has been a special category in"History Paintings", and it has been playing an important role in the modern painting history. What it paints is mainly about the heroine spirit and revolutionary habitude of Chinese communists that represented during the course of the hard revolutionary struggle and the construction of new China. More over, it has showed the special situations of Chinese revolution history by portraying the great events and famous characters.Shann'xi is one of the birthplaces of China history revolutionary. During the 13 years that was from the year of 1935, the year China Red Army of industry and agriculture reached Northern Shann'xi after the long march victoriously, to the year of 1948 when the army moved to Xibaipo of Pingshan in Hebei Province, the Chinese people lead by chairman Mao, having come through many great events such as anti-Japanese war, the second cooperation between Communist Party of China and Kuomintang, the liberation war and so on, finally won the general victories of China revolution. From then on, Baota Mountain of Yan'an has become one of symbolic signs of Chinese revolution, and one of the important contents represented in Chinese painting arts during quite a long time after the establishment of new China as well. The painting reflecting the revolutionary practice of Chairman Mao during the thirteen years of Yan'an became the most important theme of Chinese painting arts, especially during the special time of the Cultural Revolution.The historical forming process of China painting about Chinese revolution history, it's main contents, and expression techniques were analyzed in a relative objective way, the painting theme of Chinese revolutionary history in Shann'xi fine arts was arranged and researched particularly in this paper which was hoped for deeper academic research on the theme in question in Shann'xi fine arts by more scholars, by being discussed with Yan'an"Luyi"of Shaanxi fine arts and its woodcarving representing early revolutionary theme; Shilu,"Chang'an Painting Style", and the phenomenon of"Qinwenmei"; Liuwenxi's"the shrine consciousness"and his"Love Knots of Leadership"; many problems of literature and narration, theme-selecting and formations in picture pattern and expression of China revolutionary history paintings of Shann'xi fine arts.
