| The term "female orientation" originated in Japan and means "female-oriented",which is a kind of female cultural production and consumption mechanism that involves animations,games,films,television,literature and the other media forms.In the modern society where the mass media is extremely developed,women have broken the scene of male controlling discourse hegemony in the literary field,and independently opened up a corner of the carnival literature field where they attempts to break through traditional gender roles,and that is female-oriented online literature.The scale of female creation is unprecedented,and gradually expands its influence through film and television means,which is already a unique landscape of the cultural industry.However,as a window for women to express their demands and values,female-oriented online literature was well known in the early years as the "domineering President" and the "Cinderella" traditional gender roles.Are female-oriented literature still dominated by traditional gender roles? How has its mainstream gender role evolved? Will such mainstream values affect the audience?Does it play a role in consolidating traditional gender? At the stage where the development of feminism has caused widespread heated debate,these issues are worth discussing.This article analyzes the characteristics of popular gender roles in female-oriented online literature by analyzing the content of female-oriented online literature,and analyzes the gender metaphors of female-oriented online literature.At the same time,based on the cultivation theory and gender role theory,this article discusses whether women should impose gender roles on the audience like other media.The analysis of the contents of women-to-network literature shows that women under the control of women’s discourse show a strong collision between patriarchal thinking and female consciousness.The main performance is as follows:(1)Gender role types of personas show certain anti-stereotype characteristics;(2)The depiction of negative valence personality traits of characters shows strong stereotypes,the description of negative personality traits of characters is very prominent;(3)This media field depicts an extremely young world.The age of male and female characters is generally less than 30 years old,while the age of female characters is generally less than that of male characters,which emphasizes the importance of age for women.(4)The majority of female characters are non-occupation,and the diversity of occupational types is higher than that of male,but the social status and economic status are generally lower than that of male.In addition,male occupation is concentrated in the category of rulers and senior managers symbolizing power status.There are a few anti-stereotype occupations in female roles characterization,such as rulers and military and political personnel.(5)Male characters attach importance to the portrayal of achievements,while female characters focus on family and emotion.The analysis of the influence of the female-oriented online literature shows that the media has no influence on the ideal gender role type of the audience,but it will increase the acceptability of traditional negative gender role personality traits. |
