Abstract/Summary:
As a relatively complete work of the Western Han Dynasty,Han Ying’s book of Han Shi Wai Zhuan reflects the spread of The Book of Songs in the early Han Dynasty and the development of Confucianism. This paper, from the perspective of the hominology thought of Han Shi Wai Zhuan,is based on the change of Confucianism in the early Han Dynasty, and puts it under the historical background, trying to initially establish the human thought system. The main part of the thesis is centered on the four parts of the origin of hominology thought, the view of human nature, the view of rule of man and the theory of personality. The first part is the preliminary analysis of the thought of pre Qin human studies. On the one hand,Han Ying inherits the Confucianism and takes the human theory as his basic position and starting point. On the other hand,Han Ying adopted Taoism and Legalism to provide theoretical basis for his view of rule of man and personality. The second part focuses on the philosophical theme of heaven and man in Han Shi Wai Zhuan, combining with the theory of "Naturai punishment","Heaven save" and the thought of "matching heaven with virtue",and further explores the theory of human nature and goodness in Han Shi Wai Zhuan from the perspective of "learning",which shows that Han Ying mixed Xunzi’s human nature theory on the basis of inheriting Mencius’ human nature view The characteristics lay the theoretical premise for the formation of the theory of human governance and personality. The third part,in-depth study of Han Shi Wai Zhuan of the rule of man thought. It is mainly manifested in two aspects. One is the integration and transformation of the thought of rites and laws.Han Ying absorbed Xunzi’s thought of "combining punishment with rites" and Huang Lao’s thought of "combining punishment with morality" in the early Han Dynasty, formed his own unique idea of combining rites and laws, and took the law as the supplement of Confucian governance with rites.Secondly,in order to inherit and develop Mencius’ ideal of benevolent government,it emphasizes that the way of leniency, love for the people and doing benevolence and justice is the core of realizing the politics of kingly way.It discusses the thought of "value the people" and pays attention to the important role of women in society, which is the political level of Hanying’s hominology thought. In the fourth part, the author tries to grasp the thought of personality in Han Shi Wai Zhuan, excavate the concept of gentleman’s self-cultivation,and generalize the characteristics of gentleman’s connotation, which is the integration of Confucianism and Taoism, and the complexity of content. At the same time, based on the social form of the early Han Dynasty, this paper discusses the living condition of the scholar class, analyzes the contradiction between "ambition" and "official" existing in the scholar group at that time,so as to reveal the connotation and origin of the concept of "Jie shi"(a person with high moral principles).Through the study of the thought of human studies in Han Shi Wai Zhuan, this paper hopes to deepen the understanding of the thought of Confucian in the early Han Dynasty, and make a supplement for the establishment of the thought system of Confucian human studies.
