A Study On The COLORATURA Technique In Hu Tingjiang S Vocal Works

Hu Tingjiang is one of the contemporary young composers in China.He is currently an associate professor in the Department of Composition at the China Conservatory of Music.His vocal works have beautiful melodies and melodies.While preserving the national character of the music,he has incorporated Western coloratura singing techniques,and his works are of various types,in the song creation Coloratura Technique Utilization Aspect has the individual characteristic quite.Coloratura technique originated from Castrato in the 17th-18th century.It is usually performed by a soprano or a sopranos.Besides the clean and Mellow Timbre,Coloratura technique also requires flexibility and fluidity.Since its introduction into China in the 20th century,there have been not only composers such as teacher Shang Deyi who pioneered the creation of Chinese Coloratura art works,but also "oriental nightingale" singers such as Zhou Xiaoyan,dilebair and Wu Bixia,the development of Coloratura technology shows a vigorous trend.In recent years,Hu Tingjiang has received many favorable comments on the use of Coloratura techniques in song creation,constantly breaking his own path in song creation,and adding Coloratura techniques to songs of different genres and forms,it also explores the form and application of Coloratura technique,so that Coloratura technique is no longer a means of "showing off skills",but a true expression of emotion and artistic connotation.Based on this idea,Hu Tingjiang created such highly popular works as "ballet in spring","dazzling scenery","for love" and "Mayila variations",has led the Chinese national song creation new fashion.This article will discuss the content through three chapters,the first chapter:through to the Coloratura concept,the European Coloratura origin and the development of Coloratura technique in China’s elaboration,to the COLORATURA technique development general situation makes the basic understanding;Chapter two:the General Situation of Hu Tingjiang’s Coloratura vocal music works and the application characteristics of Coloratura techniques,analyzes the composing characteristics of Hu Tingjiang’s Coloratura songs;Chapter three:through the analysis of the artistic features and singing of two representative Coloratura vocal music works:The arrangement "Mayila variation" and "no-word Song""Dazzle Territory",the author analyzes the creation background and the music form of thetwo songs,the key points of Coloratura singing skills in the two works,such as breath,emotion and diction,are elaborated in detail to help oneself better interpret the works,it also hopes to give some inspiration and help to other vocal music learners who sing Hu Tingjiang’s works.
