Music books are one of the important material carriers that carry music knowledge and music culture.Music-related text,images,spectrum examples,audio and video information can be used in the form of books to achieve the purpose of recording,preservation and dissemination.In the context of the development of publishing modernization and marketization,the content production and form construction of books are extremely dependent on the editor’s topic selection planning behavior.The topic selection planning behavior has a profound impact on book editing and publishing,and determines the effectiveness of book distribution and sales.It has become a key embodiment of the core functions of editors.Since my country’s publishing industry began to comprehensively implement system reforms around 2009,major domestic publishing houses have responded to the upper-level policies in a timely manner and have shifted to corporate management models,including various publishing organizations that operate music book publishing businesses.This article selects two different types of domestic music publishing institutions as the research and investigation objects,namely Shanghai Music Publishing House represented by professional music publishing houses and Anhui Literature and Art Publishing House represented by local art publishing houses.Based on the industry background of the comprehensive system reform of the publishing industry in2009-2019,taking the topic selection and planning behavior of music books as the starting point,through field inspections,research and collection of related topic selection materials,the organizational structure of the two publishing houses,The editors,topic selection data and topic selection strategies have been sorted out and analyzed,and finally a new understanding of the functions and effectiveness of music editing in the modern communication context is generated.The thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter explains the etymology,concept,connotation and extension of topic selection planning,summarizes the format and standards of writing topic selection planning book in editing and publishing work,and analyzes the influence selection.The five major internal and external factors of problem planning.The second chapter discusses the particularity of music books,and explains the particularity of the music itself,the particularity of the music text,and the particularity of the music publication carrier.The third chapter is an introduction to the relevant situation of the two publishing houses,including the background overview of the publishing houses,the display and analysis of relevant data on the topic selection.The fourth chapter starts from the five dimensions of the organization structure,personnel composition,planning methods,topic selection strategy and case analysis of the two publishing houses,deeply analyzes and constructs the three-dimensional portrait of the topic selection planning work,and summarizes their respective characteristics and laws.The fifth chapter puts the topic selection planning under the cultural field of view,and takes the cultural selection view as a guide,thinking about the efficiency and value of the topic selection planning of music books as a conscious behavior of editors in the social music culture communication.
