Bird-shaped artifacts unearthed in the Central Plains during the Warring States Period are relatively concentrated,involving all aspects of production and life,and have unique shapes and great aesthetics.According to the material,it is divided into copper,pottery,iron,jade,gold and silver,lacquer wood,Ding,Dou,pot,plate,Yi,Yan,cup,etc.According to the type of vessels,it is divided into ritual vessels,cooking vessels,wine vessels,water vessels,horse and chariot vessels,accessories,etc.There are many kinds of bird-shaped vessels unearthed,According to the unearthed environment,the combination of the same artifacts and the regional distribution,it is known that they are closely related to the Jin Cultural district.During this period,the people of the Central Plains and ethnic minorities exchanged and merged with each other in politics,economy and culture.From this,bird-shaped artifacts with ethnic characteristics are derived.For instance,the artifacts unearthed from the tombs of the State of Jin are decorated with phoenix bird patterns or deformed bird patterns.After the three families were divided into Jin Dynasty,the artifacts unearthed from the tombs,ash pits and kiln sites of Han,Zhao and Wei countries naturally have the color of Jin Cultural district.In this paper,the bird-shaped utensils in the Central Plains during the Warring States Period are typologically analyzed and divided into stages,and their specific ages are inferred.Then,regional studies are carried out to compare the similarities and differences with similar utensils in the surrounding areas and analyze the origin of their families.Finally,it discusses the historical significance behind it.Through the typological analysis and staging of bird-shaped utensils,we have a clear understanding of their shape evolution,and then summarize the specific types of bird-shaped utensils popular in the early,mid and late Warring States Period in Central Plains.The zoning and age analysis differentiates bird-shaped objects of different shapes according to their geographical distribution.After summarizing the shapes of tombs unearthed with various bird-shaped artifacts,we have a new understanding of the ethnic groups represented by various bird-shaped artifacts:the bird-shaped artifacts unearthed in the Central Plains during the Warring States Period were dominated by Jin Cultural district,which gradually became popular with the social development at that time and interacted with the cultures of the surrounding areas;According to the combination of archaeological materials and literature materials,combing the origin,development and evolution of bird-shaped vessels in the Central Plains during the Warring States Period has a far-reaching impact on revealing the deep historical connotation behind them.By analyzing the types,stages,ages and regional distribution characteristics of bird-shaped utensils in the Central Plains during the Warring States Period,this paper discusses the detailed distribution of ethnic groups in Sanjin area,and interprets the historical significance behind bird-shaped utensils.The above analysis and research will help us to further understand the political,economic and cultural exchanges between different countries in the Central Plains during the Warring States Period.It further understands the process of the integration and development of the Han nationality in the Central Plains and the surrounding ethnic minorities,fills the gaps in this field in academic research,lays a foundation for related research,and then proves the Jin tomb system and cultural connotation recorded in the literature.
