Research On Russian Translation Of Cultural Vacancy Vocabularies Based On Chinese-russian Parallel Corpus

Commonly used in literary texts,Cultural Vacancy Vocabulary is a distinctive carrier of a country or nation’s language and culture.Due to the cultural peculiarities of Culturally Vacant Vocabulary,the problem of cultural communication barriers arising in the translation process is urgently to be resolved.However,the current research on Cultural Vacancy Vocabulary in our country is mostly used in Foreign Language Teaching or dictionary compilation,and the research is mostly based on English-Chinese/Chinese-English,there is still a lot of room for Russian Translation Research.This research adopts a Corpus-based Research Method,guided by cultural translation concepts,the principle of "Function + Loyalty" and Translation Aesthetics,and analyzes the cultural vacancies of Russian in Lao She’s three novels "Camel Xiangzi" "Divorce" and "Zhenghong’s Flag" quantitatively and qualitatively.Based on the Chi-square Test to verify the correlation between the Russian Translation Method and the translator,and in view of the problems in the Russian translation of Cultural Vacancy Vocabularies,corresponding compensation measures are proposed in order to provide reference for the practice of Russian translation in this field and to make up for the deficiencies in the Russian translation research in this field.The specific structure and main content of this paper are as follows:The First Chapter is the introduction,covering the research background,research purpose and significance,research content and corpus introduction,literature review and research methods.This research uses Lao She’s three novels "Camel Xiangzi" "Divorce" and "Zhenghong’s Flag" as the corpus,uses Cite Space to visually analyze the "cultural vacancy",and summarizes the research status and application fields of "cultural vacancy" at home and abroad then to predict the research trend of "cultural vacancy",with the help of Corpus Research Methods,carries out quantitative and qualitative research on the Russian translation of "cultural vacancy vocabulary",in order to fill the gap in the Russian translation of "cultural vacancy vocabulary" based on parallel corpus.The Second Chapter introduces the problems related to the self-built parallel corpus construction required for this research,involving the steps of building the database and the corpus application software used.The specific steps include corpus collection,alignment,word segmentation and part-of-speech tagging,etc.The software used includes "text editor",Transmate,XBench,Hy Conc,etc.The Third Chapter strictly defines the "cultural vacancy vocabulary" and clearly divides its types,uses the dichotomy to divide "cultural vacancy vocabulary" into two major categories:material and spiritual.On this basis,subdivides the types of "cultural vacancy vocabulary",to lay a good foundation for further research on the Russian translation of "cultural vacancy vocabulary".The Fourth Chapter analyzes the specific Russian translation of the "cultural vacancy vocabulary" in the corpus.First of all,assuming that due to cultural differences between the two languages,the Russian translation of "cultural vacancy vocabulary" mostly adopts domestication strategies and has nothing to do with the translator,so as to make an objective analysis of the Russian translation of "cultural vacancy vocabulary".Secondly,through the four-square chi-square test,the hypothesis that the translation method of "cultural vacancy vocabulary" has no relevance to the translator is verified,so as to conduct an objective analysis of the Russian translation of cultural vacancy vocabulary.Finally,use the Hy Conc keyword search function to retrieve cultural vacancies in the corpus,extract Russian translation examples,generalizes its Russian translation methods and characteristics,summarize the defects and deficiencies in the translation process,and conduct in-depth research.The Fifth Chapter is based on the analysis and summary of the previous content,using the "cultural vacancy vocabulary" translation sstrategy and ideas as the theoretical basis,including the cultural translation view of Bassnett,the representative of the cultural translation school,and Nord’s The "Function + Loyalty" Principle and Translation Aesthetics,the second-generation representative of German Functionalism,to compensate for the shortcomings in the Russian translation of "cultural vacancy vocabulary".The Sixth Chapter is the conclusion,reviewing and summarizing the research results,pointing out the shortcomings,and predicting the possible issues in this research field.
