Research On Creative Treason In Chronicle Of A Blood Merchant Of Korean Version

"Chronicle of a Blood Merchant" is one of the representative works of the famous contemporary Chinese writer Yu Hua,and is also famous in Korean literature.The work was not only translated into Han Ben by Choi Rong Man,but also adapted by the famous Korean director and actor Ha Jung Woo and made into the movie "Hsu Sam Gwan",which aroused a strong response in Korean society.Throughout the translation,in the context of two different languages and cultural backgrounds,creative treason with the translator as the main body is indispensable if you want to be "faithful to the original".The concept of creative treason was introduced to China in the early 1990 s by Xie Tianzhen.He clearly pointed out that creative treason is a unique technique in literary translation,which has profound research value and plays a role in the translation of our country.The so-called creative treason is a creative act completed by the translator driven by a clear re-creation motive.Other scholars in our country have also studied the concept of creative treason too numerous to mention.This concept starts from the perspectives of the translator,the reader,and the receiving environment.In order to better integrate the unfamiliar target language into the language environment of the original work,a series of behaviors such as betrayal and innovation are interpreted.The self-evident importance in literary translation.Nowadays,creative treason has gradually become a crucial theory in translation studies in the field of translation studies in our country.This thesis takes the Korean translation of Yu Hua’s novel "Chronicle of a Blood Merchant"(translated by Cui Rongwan)as the research object.From the perspective of the translator,it compares the original text with the translated text,analyzes the form of creative treason and its formation.Factors,which leads to the universality and necessity of creative treason.This thesis starts the research from the following four chapters.The first chapter describes the research purpose,significance,research object,and research methods of the thesis.By sorting out and analyzing the research results of pioneer scholars,we can explore more innovative and unique theories for this article.The second chapter mainly introduces creative treason in literary translation,including the concept and definition of creative treason,the types and characteristics of creative treason,and the embodiment of creative treason with the translator as the main body in translation works.This chapter is the theoretical basis of the whole thesis,laying the groundwork for the introduction of the central theory later,and playing a role in concealing the central idea of the full text.The third chapter introduces the specific application of the translator’s creative treason in the Korean translation of "Chronicle of a Blood Merchant".First,from the perspective of the translator,I analyze the translation strategies and methods of Cui Rongwan,the translator in the Korean version of "Chronicle of a Blood Merchant".Secondly,the author studies the embodiment of unconscious and conscious creative treason with the translator as the subject in the Korean translation.In the Korean version of "Chronicle of a Blood Merchant",unconscious creative treason is mainly reflected in mistranslation,while conscious creative treason is reflected in personalized translation,which can be subdivided into "domesticated" and "domesticated".Alienation",this article compares and analyzes the translation examples from these two perspectives.The fourth chapter makes an in-depth summary and generalization through the analysis of specific translation examples in this thesis,the importance of creative treason use in literary translation and the vital role of this theory in the globalization of Chinese literature.
