Research On Zhao Jinmei And His Poems

Zhao Jinmei is an official litterateur who came from Shandong province during late Ming and early Qing dynasties.The experiences about the changes of dynasties and official travel in different place that made his poems have practical significance.At the same time,Zhao Jinmei is a turncoat official who served for two dynasties.This special identity made his literary outputs have more era significance.His “anthology of Qing Zhi Ge” which has long length of writing and rich contents.It has five literary forms,such as poem,Ci,sanqu,drama and essay.There are 996 themes and 1476 poems.This paper chooses the tittle which is “Research on Zhao Jinmei and his Poems” because of four reasons,such as the research status about Zhao Jinmei in academic circles,the amount of his different works,the limited time and my own situation.To research Zhao Jinmei and his poems is very important for researching regional literature.Then exploring the official literati’s poetic creation and change of mentality who lived in the change era between two dynasties.This paper is divided into 3 parts:The first part is a introduction.This part is discussing the reasons of this title,research status,thoughts of research and methods,innovations.The second part is the main part of this paper which is divided into four chapters:The first chapter is Zhao Jinmei’s family,life experience as well as edition and literary works about “anthology of Qing Zhi Ge”.To know the background of Zhao Jinmei’s poems’ writing and basic information.The second chapter is the research of poems’ thought contents and spiritual meaning.Zhao Jinmei’s poems are mainly divided into 4 kinds by his actual situaion of the poetic creation,such as social activities,travel notes,landscape and objects.And then to discuss them rely on the time and space.The third chapter introduces Zhao Jinmei’s poetic thoughts and the artistic characteristics of his poems.The first section expounds three aspects of Zhao Jinmei’s thought of poetic creation,such as “inheriting tradition and pursuing individuality”,“learning from Dufu and completing the history”,“combining the elegance with the commomplace ”.The second section reflects Zhao Jinmei’s artistic features of poems including five different angles.They are poetic forms,language,selection of images,the change of poem’s style and the combination of emotion with scene.The fourth chapter combines the era with his works to discuss Zhao Jinmei’s status and influencement in poetic circles of Ming and Qing dynasties.The third part is the conclusion about the study of Zhao Jinmei and his poems.
