Investigation And Research On The Forest Of Changbai Mountain

As an important part of China's national traditional culture,work songs are also a major carrier of its folk songs.They have a long history and can be traced back to collective labor in primitive society,and till now,some labors are replaced by the machine,gradually disappearing and dropping out from the historical stage.In the thousands of years of fighting between the working people and the nature,alone with the work songs,people have competed with nature,and those songs greatly played their social function.As the earliest and oldest form of folk art,work songs have been deeply loved by the working people for thousands of years after its birth.As an important part of China's work songs,Changbai Mountain work songs also important.At the same time,Changbai work songs are one of the representative folk culture in Northeast region.With the development of society,production by collective labor has been gradually replaced by the gradual realization of mechanized production in forest area.The large-scale logging in forest has made timber output increase rapidly,distinctively decreasing the tree storage in forest.The social ecology has been valued by the state.In order to protect the dynamic balance between the natural environment and the ecological resources,the government announced to stop cut trees and protect them,and to adjust the industrial structure.On April 1,2015,the fall of a larch declare cutting trees in Changbai Mountain,Greater Khingan Range and other forest closes its over 60 years of logging history.According to the State Forestry Bureau,the forestry workers in the northeast forest and the Inner Mongolia forest completely shopped their commercial logging from then on,and lumbermen who have worked hard for a lifetime disappeared.Forest harvesting has begun in Changbai Mountain since the third century BC.Not only the special “Baishan” rite but also “Changbai Mountain work songs”,one of China oldest work songs,formed.Now,Aiming at this point,the author hopes to systematically record and analyze Changbai Mountain work songs via his knowledge.The content of Changbai Mountain work songs usually reflects the labor production and social life of the lumbermen in Changbai Mountain forest,and most of their lyrics are to remind the lumbermen to pay attention to their safety and activate the atmosphere so as to work together.Changbai Mountain work songs show the altitude towards life and their emotions of lumbermen.Those songs are displayed by a leading singer,following other singers.Those songs are closely related to the production and life of lumbermen and are art works integrate literature,music,behavior,singing and life identity and thought.They are diversified,common and creative.The paper researches Changbai Mountain work songs overall and explores this long lasting folk music from the perspective of Anthropology of Music.
