Study On Liu Cai Shao’s Poetry

Liu Caishao was a literati and official of the three dynasties of Song Huizong,Song Qinzong and Song Gaozong.His poetry works reflect his mental course when he was an official,at the same time reflect the mental state of the intellectuals and official idea before and after the southern crossing,and have a certain academic value.This paper makes a detailed and in-depth analysis of the content and artistic characteristics of Liu Caishao’s poems through the combing of his life,friends and thoughts.The paper is divided into three chapters,and the specific contents are listed below:The first chapter summarizes Liu Caishao’s life,friends and thoughts.Liu Caishao(1086-1158),courtesy name Zhongzhi,self-styled Shanxi Jushi,was born in Luling,Jizhou.The extant edition of the collection of shanxi lay scholars is based on the photocopy of the "sikuquanshu" of wenyuange,and collated with the poems preserved in the remnant edition of the "yongle great diandian".Liu Caishao was an official all his life.He was deeply influenced by Confucianism.He was loyal to the emperor,patriotic and conscientious.He was also influenced by Buddhism and Taoism,and often went to Buddhist temples and Taoist temples to seek spiritual comfort and sustsustation.At the same time,he has contacts with Zhu Yi,Wang Tinggui,Fu Zide,Li Zi and so on,and they are in harmony with each other.The second chapter studies the ideological content of Liu Caishao’s poetry.The whole song poem includes 206 poems of liu caishao,which can be divided into reward poems,memory poems and scenery poems,poems about things and aspirations,frontier fortress poems,and some poems about the grievance of the female friends and historical relics.The poem of reward presents the poet’s pure heart of concern for the country and people.The poem depicts the ambivalent mood of the poet,who is tired of officialdom,who wants to quit,and who is concerned with the country.The poems of chanting things and expressing aspirations show the poet’s tenacity,unyielding,lofty and proud qualities.The frontier fortress poems and the poems about historical sites show the poet’s loyalty to the country.The boudoir poems show the delicate emotion of the poet.The third chapter analyzes Liu Caishao’s poetic creation ideas and poetic artistic characteristics.Liu Caishao not only learned from Chen Zi-ang,Tao Yuanming,Ouyang Xiu,Su Shi and others,and advocated the innovation of poetry and prose,but also retained his own characteristics and formed his own unique ideas of poetry creation.First,poetry creation should worship elegance and restore ancient ways,pay attention to style and not be decorated with false ornaments.Second,the content of the poem should be deep,and the words should be deep and strict,so as to see big things from small things.The third is the image of "magic machine circle",the artistic conception of virtual and real complement each other;The fourth is to praise the clear and healthy style of poetry.Liu Caishao practiced his own ideas of poetry creation and formed corresponding artistic characteristics: first,he used color words well to describe the scenery with a strong sense of painting;Two is to use the line,concise and vivid;Third,make good use of imagination,exaggerate novel;Fourthly,the language is deep and strict,and the words are simple.The language is concise and clear,elegant and implicit.The overall style is given priority to by elegant and vigorous.
