| The fire of the Northern Shaanxi Revolution originated from the Northern District Committee of the Communist Party of China,which was led by the Shaanxi revolutionary intellectuals in Beijing who were reunited with Li Dazhao.From 1923 to 1924,Wei Yechou,Li Zizhou,Huyan Zhendong and other early CPC members who were studying in Beijing graduated one after another,and were instructed by the CPC Northern District Committee to open up the "homecoming revolution".Limited to the lack of industrial development power in Shaanxi Province,there are not a considerable number of industrial workers here to lay the class foundation for the CPC revolution.Since the May 4th movement,the middle school students in Shaanxi have shown a certain revolutionary spirit and ability.Therefore,after returning to Shaanxi,the early Communist Party members of Shaanxi first entered the middle school campus of the province to open up the early party building cause of the Communist Party of China.At the beginning of the Republic of China,Yulin Middle School(hereinafter referred to as "Yuzhong")was the highest institution in Northern Shaanxi.Since 1918,Du Bincheng,the new principal who graduated from Beijing,carried out a drastic education reform.In the early 1920s,Yulin Middle School has achieved an important leap in education development,and has become an educational Mecca to attract young students from 23 counties in Northern Shaanxi to study here.At the same time,Shaanxi’s revolutionary pioneers also put their eyes on Yulin Middle School.They took advantage of the opportunity of headmaster Du Bincheng to recruit teachers to join the teaching team of Yulin Middle School.Then,relying on the favorable basic conditions of the middle school campus,they spread the ideological content of new culture to the students in the form of in and out of class teaching,and developed the young students into the class foundation of the party building of the Communist Party of China.The early revolutionaries in Shaanxi laid the ideological foundation of Party building in Northern Shaanxi on campus,and the revolution in Northern Shaanxi began to start a prairie fire with Yulin Middle School as its stronghold.In the research of this paper,the time clue is 1923-1926.First of all,this paper explores why Yulin Middle School has the environment and foundation to develop the revolutionary cause in Northern Shaanxi under the background of President Du Bincheng’s reform.Secondly,according to the working situation of Wei Yechou,Li Zizhou and other early revolutionary intellectuals in Shaanxi Province after they returned to Shaanxi Province,the author sums up the working characteristics of these revolutionary intellectuals in opening up revolutionary bases on the campus of middle school through the network of geographical and academic relationship,and further analysis of the Communist Party’s infiltration into Yulin Middle School,the change of students’ ideological tendency shakes the warlord Jing Yuexiu’s rule in Northern Shaanxi,which leads to the difficult situation of President Du Bincheng’s management lost its effect in Yulin Middle School.Because of the suppression of Jing Yuexiu’s counter revolutionary forces in Northern Shaanxi,Wei Yechou and other Communists left Yulin Middle School one after another.Under the guidance of no revolutionary leader,how will the stronghold of regional revolution be formed in Yulin Middle School;Finally,the Party and League Organizations in Yulin Middle School are mainly composed of the students in the school.Although the characteristics of the students make the body of the organization grow rapidly in the school,the singleness of the internal structure of the organization leads to the abnormal development of the Party and League Organizations in Yulin Middle School.As a result,many defects such as congenital dysplasia and lack of activity ability were exposed in the early activities of the tissue.By the end of 1925,the Party and League organization of Yulin Middle School,which was still in its infancy,broke out a storm in order to expel Gao Chong from the school.However,due to improper working strategies,it became the object of expulsion by the Yulin authorities.Although the Party and League Organizations in Yulin Middle School suffered heavy losses after the initial establishment,their early hones and lessons provided many useful experiences for the development of the revolutionary cause in Northern Shaanxi in the future.As the stronghold of regional revolution,the revolutionary youth coming out of Yulin Middle School will still take the revolutionary cause as their life mission,and gradually transform into the backbone of the Northern Shaanxi revolution in the 1930s. |
