| In conversational communication, verbal interruptions are very common.Speech interruption is an important speech act that promotes turn-taking.But it was not until the 1970s that foreign scholars began to study it.There are few research results on speech interruptions from the perspective of institutional conversation.Conversational contexts are limited to doctor-patient relationships, courts and English classroom teaching. The research perspectives mainly include interruptions and power, interruptions and gender. There are only a few studies on the phenomenon of "speech interruption" from the perspective of Chinese as a second language teaching.Through our review of the existing studies,we find that the current academic research on this phenomenon is not deep enough, and there are many problems in the research methods. Therefore, this paper attempts to study the phenomenon of speech interruptions in the institutional conversation of foreign students by means of quantitative analysis on the basis of the turn-to-turn transition rules and the theory of conversation analysis. This paper is mainly divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction and theoretical framework. In the introduction part, the reason of the topic selection and the significance of the research are explained, and the research corpus used in this study and the annotation of the corpus are explained. At the same time, the research object is analyzed and the research method is also expounded. In the end,the research process and achievements of speech interruptions are reviewed from both domestic and foreign perspectives. In the part of theoretical framework,we sort out relevant theories such as the theory of conversation analysis and the rules of turn-to-turn transition, and try to define and classify the phenomenon of "speech interruption" by taking them as theoretical fulcrum. The second part is data statistics and analysis. In this paper, the author analyzes and summarizes the linguistic interruptions in the organizational conversations of second language learners, including a quantitative analysis of the linguistic interruptions in the organizational conversations of second language learners and Chinese native speakers, and a comparative analysis of the choice of interruptions and forms between them. The third part is questions and suggestions.Based on the existing teaching materials of spoken Chinese as a foreign language,we summarize many problems existing in the compilation of teaching materials. In view of this,we put forward some suggestions for compiling the teaching materials of spoken Chinese as a foreign language, and designed a micro class teaching. The fourth part is the conclusion part. This part summarizes the main conclusions of the paper, analyzes the shortcomings of the paper, and looks forward to the research prospects of "speech interruption" in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. |
