In recent years, with the increasing number of foreigners learning Chinese for a short time, the importance of short-term intensive Chinese teaching is becoming more and more prominent, in order to make foreign learners improve their communicative ability quickly, it’s very important to write an excellent short term intensive Chinese textbook.But in the past 30 years, although the quantity of the short-term intensive Chinese textbooks was very large,but the quality was very uneven, there are few suitable short term Chinese textbooks. So In order to write the most suitable textbooks for learners, it’s quite necessary to study the existing short-term intensive textbooks. So this article intends to study Short-term Spoken Chinese(Threshold) and Lu-Chinese conversation for foreigners,we are trying to analysis the two textbooks comprehensively through text,vocabulary, grammar and practice, summing up the deficiencies and putting forward some suggestions, we want to provide some reference for short-term intensive Chinese textbooks in the future. there are 7 parts in this article. The first part is study’s background,meaning,method and so on.The second part is the simple introduction of the two textbooks. and the following four parts are the comprehensive comparison about the two textbooks.The last part is summarizing the existing problems on textbook compiling and proposing some advice for the future short term Chinese textbooks.
