After more than 40 years of reform and opening up,actively integrating into the process of economic globalization and promoting development and reform through open cooperation are the basic experience of China’s economic and social great development.And many Chinese enterprises have achieved international development in this process.With the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative in recent years,more Chinese enterprises have entered the international market and become the promoters of economic globalization,which has added new impetus to China’s economy and further promoted China to become the leader of new economic globalization.Effective international communication of enterprises is crucial to their success in international market,and also can help to shape a good national image around the world.The great cultural and ideological differences between China and the West bring great challenge to international communication of enterprises,especially to state-owned enterprises.State-owned enterprises are the important material and political foundation of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and they are also important participants in economic globalization.Many state-owned enterprises often bring ideology into their international communication texts,which will lead to unnecessary ideological and cultural conflicts.Manipulation theory,which is developed under the background of studying the differences between culture and ideology,is of great guiding significance to international communication translation.Manipulation Theory holds the view that patronage,poetics and ideology are the three key factors that influence the final formation of the translated text,and both the overall goals of patronage and poetics are to serve ideology.Under the guidance of Manipulation Theory,the author puts forward the strategies of downplaying the identity of state-owned enterprises,highlighting the target readers’ interests from the perspective of patronage manipulation and retain some content that in favor of international communication of China government and CPC;on the level of poetics,the author puts forward the strategies of lexicon rewriting,sentences rewriting,as well as other rewriting strategies,such as strengthening the vocative and communicative functions of texts,etc.;on the level of ideology,the author puts forward translation strategies of lexicon rewriting and contents rewriting,as well as context and style adjustment,which makes the translated text conform to English poetics norms to eliminate the possibility of cultural and ideological conflicts,therefore enhancing the communicative function of the text,expanding the communication effect and shaping a good corporate image.Generally speaking,under the guidance of Manipulation Theory,rewriting the international communication texts of state-owned enterprises,can avoid ideological and cultural conflicts in target texts to a large extent,enhance its communicative function and promote the Chinese state-owned enterprises to “go global”.
