Research On The Role Of "Cloud" In The Space-time Construction Of Chinese Landscape Painting

As an image element,the cloud runs through the entire Chinese art history.It is a rich and complex system that exists in all aspects of Chinese traditional art and life,and has become a typical schematic symbol of my country’s art tradition.During the Northern and Southern Dynasties,due to the aesthetic influence of scholars,artistic expression began to turn to natural beauty,and landscape painting entered its embryonic period.In the Tang Dynasty,it developed into an independent painting department,and it emerged as a new force in traditional Chinese art.Cloud is an important picture element in landscape painting,especially in the literati ink landscape.The literati doctor has given Cloud a unique aesthetic,philosophical and even cosmological dimension,and his national values,aesthetic concepts,humanistic feelings and philosophical aspirations have been given to Cloud.Incorporate into the creation and interpretation of cloud symbols.With the development of landscape painting,the role of cloud in the painting has become more diverse.The addition of literati’s aesthetic cognition has also given cloud multiple roles and meanings.And it has become an indispensable soul element in the time-space construction of landscape painting.Through the analysis of the form,significance and background context of cloud in landscape painting,this article deeply explores the role evolution of cloud in landscape painting and its important role in the creation of time and space.This article is divided into three chapters to study the role of "cloud" in the creation of time and space in Chinese landscape painting.The first chapter mainly discusses the three main expression techniques of cloud in Chinese landscape painting,and the different forms of techniques displayed by different forms of clouds.And the different picture effects presented;and then discuss the space-time relationship between clouds and Chinese landscape paintings from the perspective of the space-time view of "virtual and real coexistence" embodied by clouds and the image of "distant space";The second chapter discusses the role of clouds in the time and space construction of landscape paintings,revealing the role of clouds in the time expression of landscape paintings,and the role of clouds in the construction of the formal aesthetics of the spatial layout of landscape paintings;The last chapter analyzes the role of cloud in landscape painting with the change of literati’s aesthetics,as well as the influence of traditional Chinese philosophical meaning behind this role evolution,making "cloud" an object from the early independence of landscape painting.The reappearing object appeared in the painting,and gradually evolved into a symbol of the inner spirit of the literati painter’s subject.
