Study On Light And Shadow Space Expression Of Chinese Contemporary Watercolor Painting

Light and shadow space has always been an important aesthetic factor in the development of watercolor painting.It is not only depicted as the object of watercolor painting,but also repeatedly thought and applied as the key element of picture composition.Various forms of expression have been produced in the pen of Chinese contemporary watercolor painters.Starting with the development history of light and shadow space,this paper summarizes the historical evolution of the concept of light and shadow space,observes and summarizes the characteristics of contemporary Chinese watercolor paintings in the performance of light and shadow space,and studies the elements of light and shadow space itself,from three aspects: the relationship between light and shadow space,the determinants of light and shadow space,and the different effects of light and shadow space.To expand the Chinese contemporary watercolor painting light and shadow space expression form analysis.In the research process,combined with the previous theoretical achievements of light and shadow space,this paper classifies and discusses the representative works of light and shadow space in contemporary Chinese watercolor paintings,summarizes the essence of the focus of light and shadow space,thinks about the contemporary nature of Chinese watercolor paintings and the feasibility of light and shadow space practice,and extracts the aesthetic value and practical significance contained in them.It provides the theoretical support and the foothold of form innovation for the picture expression of Chinese contemporary watercolor painting,as well as the direction of personal creation exploration.
