Study On Animal Figurines Unearthed From Northern Wei Tombs In Luoyang Area

Animal figurines are model luminaries and poultry as the subject matter.As a model funerary object,it is buried in the tomb,which not only reflects the ancient funeral customs and customs related to animals,but also is a powerful material evidence for the economic development of agriculture and animal husbandry.The Northern Wei Dynasty is the first time in Chinese history when ethnic groups merged,and it is also the key period when the types and shapes of animal figurines changed.In this paper,animal figurines unearthed from Northern Wei tombs in Luoyang area are taken as the research objects,classified according to animal species,and discussed their own characteristics,evolution rules and their combination.Through analysis,Taking the change of river yin as a node,this paper divides the animal figurines in the Northern Wei Dynasty in Luoyang into two periods,and summarizes the style characteristics and combination methods presented in each period.Finally,on the basis of summarizing the laws,this paper discusses the origin of animal figurines in the Northern Wei Dynasty in Luoyang area,the similarities and differences between them and the economic development of agriculture and animal husbandry reflected by them.
