Research On The Overseas Cultural Relics Exhibitions Hosted By Art Exhibitions China

Cultural relics inherit splendid civilization and long history and culture.As one of the important forms of China’s cultural exchanges with the world,the overseas cultural relics exhibitions have made positive contributions to enhance the international influence of Chinese culture and facilitates exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations.70 years since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,more and more Chinese cultural relics have gone abroad,becoming important windows for the world to understand China and for China to reach out to the world.The overseas cultural relics exhibitions have become a bridge between civilizations across time and space,promoted exchanges and mutual learning between the civilizations and cultures of China and the world,and contributed to the prosperity of each other.However,for a long time,the research on the overseas cultural relics exhibitions has lagged behind.The importance and particularity of the overseas cultural relics exhibition have attracted little attention from the academic.The situation of emphasizing practical operation while neglecting research needs to be solved urgently.Art Exhibitions China as the only national level specialized agencies in China in charge of overseas cultural relics exhibitions,since founded in 1971 to 2019,hosted 215 overseas exhibitions.These exhibitions went all over the world on five continents,a total of 47 countries and regions,had audience of more than 66 million people.A lot of exhibitions as national bilateral activities such as “sino-year” “sinoyear of culture” have played a positive role for serving the overall interests of China’s diplomacy.This paper takes these 215 overseas cultural relics exhibitions as the research object and uses data survey,classification,policy research,case analysis and other methods to conduct comprehensive carding,detailed statistics and analysis of the conditions of the exhibitions.The purpose of this paper is to summarize the situation of development,the outstanding characteristic and the existing problems.On this basis,through the comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the experience and gains of the overseas cultural relics exhibitions development,this paper try to put forward the future development direction and targeted policy recommendations of the overseas cultural relics exhibitions hosted by Art Exhibitions China.
