| Metaphors and metonymy are present in our lives,rooted in our everyday experience,and construct our language,as well as our thoughts,attitudes,and behaviors.People’s understanding of the world basically starts from their understandi ng of themselves,so the human body and various organs and parts of the human bod y as the "cognitive basis" of human cognition to experience and feel the whole wor ld.This paper takes the human body word in uyghur proverbs as the research object,and combines the related research results of predecessors to explore the metaphorical cognition and metonymy cognition of human body words from the perspectiveofcognition.Therefore,this paper makes a detailed classification of the col lected corpus,makes clear the proverbs related to human body words in the corpus a nd makes a classification study of them.Secondly,the cognitive mechanism of human metaphor and metonymy in uygur proverbs is analyzed by using relevant theories,the cognitive phenomena related to metaphor and metonymy are investigated,and the laws of their existence are explored.Finally,this paper explores and analyzes the characteristics of human metaphor and metonymy proverbs in uygur from a cognitive perspective.This paper will be divided into four parts: the first part is the introduction,clarified first selected topic basis and theoretical and practical research significance,the second combed the related literature at home and abroad,to master the research status of the American people cognition,then illustrates the research method of this article,the research scope and corpus sources,finally,this paper introduces some relevant theories of metaphor and metonymy,laid a certain theoretical basis for the paper;The second part is an study on the metaphor and metonymy analysis of "human body words" in uyghur proverbs.Eight representative human body words,including head,eyes,face,mouth,ears,hands,feet and heart,with high frequency,rich metaphorical meaning and metonymy meaning,are selected as the focus of the study.The third part is the analysis of the Chinese translation of the human body words about metaphor and metonymy proverbs in uyghur proverbs,focusing on the semantic characteristics and translation methods of the human body words as a metaphor and metonymy in uyghur proverbs.The fourth part is the conclusion,which summarizes the conclusions of this paper,and clarifies the limitations of this paper,and provides some reference value for the related research in the future. |
