For a long time,Nietzsche’s philosophy has been the focus of many scholars. In the research field of Nietzsche and religion, most of the research achievements are still from the perspective of Nietzsche’s hostility to Christianity, and there are few studies on the complexity of the relationship between Nietzsche’s philosophy and religion. In fact,Nietzsche does not completely deny religion,on the contrary,he still retains a positive attitude towards religion.Nietzsche is deeply influenced by Christianity in his whole life,so it means that his philosophy has religious features. Therefore, based on Christianity, this paper summarizes four characteristics of religion, which are divinity worship, transcendence, omnipotence and hope. After a brief review of Nietzsche’s criticism of Christianity, this paper will focus on the book Thus Spare Zarathustra to explore the evidence of Nietzsche’s close relationship with Christianity. This paper holds that the intimacy between Nietzsche and Christianity is mainly manifested in two aspects: on the one hand, the text of this book is filled with a large number of imitations of the Bible;on the other hand,Nietzsche’s philosophical thoughts have the four religious characteristics which are mentioned above. This paper will point out the duality of non-religious and religious in Nietzsche’s philosophy, and the inherent tension in the criticism and imitation of religion in his philosophy,in order to change people’s stereotype of Nietzsche as an "antichrist".
