| In the 21st century of economic globalization,people’s living environment is also silently receiving the changes brought by high-speed economic development.This makes people’s material needs in economic,cultural,material and other aspects have been satisfied with high quality."Fast" has become the most representative label of this era.Along with the "speed",those merchants began to reduce the corresponding standards of materials and production technology as much as possible in order to obtain more benefits,leaving the original intention of design.More and more products bear a similar "international face".With the response of "slow life","slow design" emerges at the right moment and has been applied to many design fields such as architecture,furniture and graphic design.However,there are few design studies related to books.Things in the new era continue to provide the public with more novel feelings,including the traditional way of reading books is gradually being impacted by APPs and other electronic devices.Through the network and the actual survey feedback results,the author thinks about the current book design environment in China,and expounds the influence of the rapidly developing business model on the development direction of books.In learned as we know "slow design" in the field of the development of mature,the author from the "slow" design concept into the redesign of books as the research Angle,and combining the references about the "slow design" and the "slow design" concept of the actual case study analysis,summarizes the connotation of "slow" design concept and design principle.What the "slow design" concept pursues is not the length of time,but a thoughtful and internal design,which conveys the aspects of care,warmth and sustainability to the public in the form of design,so that people can regain the true meaning of life in the hurry of life.Therefore,after the comprehensive research and analysis of the concept of "slow design",the author will incorporate the following four aspects of "slow design" into the book design for innovation: In book design,visual presentation,manifestation of humanistic care,absorption and display of traditional culture,and emotional embodiment are analyzed with examples from relevant perspectives to show how to reasonably combine the concept of "slow design" with book design.The author applies the concept of "slow design" into book design,and constantly improves the practical application of the theory to book design,providing a feasible basis for the application of the concept of "slow design" to book design.It is hoped that the concept of "slow design" can provide new ideas for book design,better inherit the unique artistic charm of the scroll atmosphere in China,so as to attract readers’ interest in reading,and make more and more readers’ awareness of the importance of book reading gradually warmer. |
