Study On The Visual Expression Of "Urban Culture" In A Cultural Feature Film

Urban culture feature film is a documentary that uses present or past tense to give a concentrated and in-depth visual expression of urban culture,focusing on the inheritance and development of the city’s historical cultural lineage.Through the clever combination of resources in various parts of city culture,urban culture feature films create a city culture image with unique style and quality,which is a kind of TV culture pursuing documentary and art.With the work of poverty eradication in China moving toward a comprehensive victory,the status and role of urban culture is becoming more and more compelling,and how to design visual expression of a city’s urban culture becomes an important factor to enhance the competitiveness of the city.At present,most domestic visual expressions of urban culture are presented in the form of propaganda films,and attempts based on feature films have been successful but not successful enough to form theoretical guidance and practical reference with sufficient quality and quantity.Therefore,this paper takes Zheng’an urban culture as the creative context,and analyzes the visual imagery,visual thinking,visual expression elements and visual expression language of classic urban culture feature films and individual works in a comparative manner,hoping to accumulate appreciable experience or reference for the creation of future feature films on urban culture themes.
