Based on the differences in political identities, this article divides the literati in the early Song Dynasty into two main groups—the people who entered the Song literary group in the Five Dynasties and the literary group in the new dynasty. It discusses the differences between their political identities, mentality, aesthetic inclination, and poetry propositions, and analyzes these the relationship between factors and their poetry creation. The thesis is divided into four parts, and the “problem awareness” part of the introduction puts forward the questions to be discussed in this article. The second chapter discusses the relationship between the mentality of the scholars in Song Dynasty during the Five Dynasties and their poetry creation. In the new dynasty, the literati who entered the Song Dynasty in the Five Dynasties faced complex living conditions and identity recognition problems.Although literati with different principles of dealing with things showed different living conditions in the new environment,in general, the strong pressure in the political environment made they are always worried. Therefore,in their creation, they uniformly showed the characteristics of emotional adduction and only paying attention to the things in front of them.In the poems they frequently composed, they basically couldn’t see any content related to real politics.Instead, they were replaced by a large number of praises of merit, euphoria, and singing.Their acceptance of Bai Juyi was not only due to their appreciation of popular, simple, elegant and elegant poetry, but more importantly, under similar historical circumstances,Bai Juyi’s mentality of contentment and happiness gave their souls comfort. The third chapter discusses the mentality of the literati in the Song Dynasty and their poetry creation. The new dynasty literati who grew up under the Youwen policy at the beginning of the Song Dynasty had a completely different atmosphere and pattern from those who entered the Song Dynasty in the Five Dynasties. The rise of imperial examinations and the promotion of social and cultural atmosphere gave them a strong sense of political participation and social responsibility. In poetry, they pay attention to reality and people’s livelihood, and are not satisfied with the inheritance of previous generations, and actively explore. At this time,Baiti turned. The new Baiti poets consciously opposed the single Baiti style of the previous generation, and began to learn from Bai Juyi’s early realistic poetry creation, and gradually changed from learning Bai to learn Du.The emergence of the Xikun style is also a backwash against previous poetry. On the one hand, poets in Xikun have used their poetic competence to show their academic ability;on the other hand, they have contained subtle tortuous allegories in their poems to express their dissatisfaction with reality. The diversified face of poetry in the early Song Dynasty was formed under the drive of the literati of the new dynasty. The concluding part summarizes the relationship between the mentality of literati in the poetry circle of the early Song Dynasty and the appearance of poetry. The literati in the early Song Dynasty who are both bureaucrats and poets, the political situation they face affects the style and vigor of their poetry creation.
