A Study Of Qiangjin’s Development

As one of the most important techniques for decorating lacquer ware,the history of qiangjin has been developed for thousands of years.The research object in this paper is the development history of qiangjin technique,and through the collection,collation and study of ancient literature,archaeological and handed down material,the characteristics of the technique are analyzed,and the development of the technique is sorted out from scratch,from starting to flourishing,from infancy to maturity,to grasp the direction of development of the technique.This paper first explores the predecessors and the earliest appearance of qiangjin.With the inheritance and development of the qiangjin craft,the Song and Yuan dynasties qiangjin presented a whole new face,whether as a palace aristocratic ware or folk craft,are presented with a prosperous scene.A great deal of qiangjin lacquerware was introduced to the east at this time.This was not only a transfer of lacquer skills,but also a spread of culture and exchange.During the Ming and Qing dynasties,qiangjin ushered in its own era,with more mature techniques and styles ranging from simple to elaborate,and the emergence of a lacquer art classic,The Book of Xiushilu.In addition,the use of a variety of techniques in combination with the painting of individual pieces has allowed the technique to be used to greater effect,not only as a main decoration,but also as a ground decoration on the surface of the vessel.Finally,we examine and collect information on the use of the technique in modern times,both at home and abroad,to explore more fully the development of the technique from beginning to end,from China to the world,and from simple to complex.
