| "Olan Xuraxu" is a Mongolian language,which means that many people or things gather together.This article specifically refers to the annual The Olan Xuraxu Literary and Art Rally.It is a large-scale comprehensive mass ethnic festival in Uxin Banner.It is a comprehensive ethnic festival that integrates cultural performances and competitions,traditional production techniques exhibitions and competitions,traditional Nair and material exchange meeting.The Olan Xuraxu Literary and Art Rally was held for the first time in 1997 and has been held for 24 consecutive years.After more than20 years of development,it has become a modern ethnic festival with distinctive ethnic and local characteristics,popular with local people,and deep integration of festival activities with ethnic culture.It has a wide range of social and cultural influences.The Olan Xuraxu Literary and Art Rally was included in the Uxin Banner intangible cultural heritage list in 2009,and successively won the titles of "Most Distinctive Ethnic Festival Award" and "One Banner One Brand" cultural brand,and was called "Olympics on the Grassland" by local farmers and herdsmen.It is an important part of the cultural life of the masses in Uxin Banner.This dissertation takes The Olan Xuraxu Literary and Art Rally in Uxin Banner as a research case,using the method of combining field investigation and literature research,using cultural construction theory and related theories of anthropology,and discussing "deep description" and interpretation of the concept and practice of festive construction based on field research.This article first introduces the origin,development,organization,competition items,and rules of The Olan Xuraxu Literary and Art Rally,and gives a comprehensive description of the festival process and festival content.Secondly,it discusses the roles and functions of different participants in the process of constructing the festival,and tries to explore the ideas and approaches of festive construction practice.Finally,it analyzes the social and cultural functions of The Olan Xuraxu Literary and Art Rally.The main points of this paper are:First of all,the holding and development of The Olan Xuraxu Literary and Art Rally benefited from the profound historical and cultural heritage of Uxin Banner,and also benefited from the improvement of the level of economic development and the strong support of the government.Nowadays,It has developed into a large-scale comprehensive ethnic festival with orderly organization,clear competition rules,perfect competition incentive mechanism,rich project content,complete festival process,and distinctive festival characteristics.Secondly,the government,academia,and the public play different roles and play their respective roles in the construction of festivals.In the practice of festive construction,uphold the construction concepts of integration of tradition and modernity,supremacy of cultural connotation,highlighting ethnic and regional characteristics,and highlighting cultural subjectivity;Third,The Olan Xuraxu Literary and Art Rally is an important part of the cultural life of the people in Uxin Banner.It promotes the protection and inheritance of the ethnic excellent traditional culture,expands the performance and expression of ethnic culture,andenriches the folk cultural life.It also has important social and cultural functions in enhancing cultural exchanges and interactions among various ethnic groups;Finally,festivals are the carrier of ethnic culture.The practice of festival construction is an innovation in the inheritance of the ethnic excellent traditional culture.This research will help people understand the logic and concept that should be followed when constructing ethnic cultural festivals.At the same time,this research can provide useful enlightenment for the construction of rural civilization,the construction of ethnic cultural areas,and the cultural construction of agricultural and pastoral areas under the strategy of "Rural Revitalization".This successful practice of festival construction will help to forge the consciousness of the Chinese nation’s community,enhance the exchange and integration of various ethnic cultures,and promote the common prosperity and development of all ethnic cultures. |
