On The Relationship Between Confucianism And Buddhism In The Religious Dialogue At Late Ming

In the history of cultural development of internal and external environment,Ming Confucianism Relationship showing the complexity of the new features,such as multi-faceted,the reason is ideological and cultural diversity brought by the late Ming special historical environment.Due to the characteristics of the introduction of the new heterogeneous culture of Catholicism,the original local culture such as Confucianism and Buddhism in late Ming produced its own characteristics of diverse sects,diverse classes,and diverse positions.These new characteristics of local culture became the internal driving force for the changes in the relationship between Confucianism and Buddhism at late Ming,and the missionary strategy adopted by Catholicism to different local cultures was the external driving force for the changes in the relationship between Confucianism and Buddhism at late Ming.Therefore,the relationship between Confucianism and Buddhism in late Ming from the perspective of Catholicism in the late Ming is an indispensable angle in the relationship between Confucianism and Buddhism in late Ming.The Collected Records of Religious Dialogues in Late Ming," Poxieji(An Anthology of Writings Exposing Heterodoxy)",records the content of the dialogue and debate between Confucianism,Buddhism,and Catholicism in late Ming.It has the characteristics of a long time span and a wide range of content.The editor Xu Changzhi sorted and edited relevant documents based on the contents of the Confucian official,ConfucianismCatholicism Dialogue,and Buddhism-Catholicism Dialogue,which clearly showed the relationship characteristics of the various schools or sects in the religious dialogue at late Ming.The combing theory of Confucianism and Buddhism and Catholicism from different angles is an effective way to fully and objectively present the relationship between Confucianism and Buddhism in late Ming.This article discusses the relationship between Confucianism and Buddhism reflected in " Poxieji(An Anthology of Writings Exposing Heterodoxy)" through three chapters.The content of the first chapter discusses the relationship between Confucianism and Buddhism reflected in the form of the document through the cultural background of the Eastern and Western cultures in late Ming and the content and structure of the "Poxieji(An Anthology of Writings Exposing Heterodoxy)".The second chapter discusses what is involved in the " Poxieji(An Anthology of Writings Exposing Heterodoxy)".The main characters of Catholicism,Confucianism,Buddhism and other parties explore and interpret the relationship between Confucianism and Buddhism contained in the literature.Chapter 3 discusses the new characteristics of the relationship between Confucianism and Buddhism in late Ming reflected in the form and content of " Poxieji(An Anthology of Writings Exposing Heterodoxy)".Discuss and summarize the important role of Catholicism in the development of the relationship between Confucianism and Buddhism in the late Ming and the new characteristics of the multi-level and pluralistic relationship between Confucianism and Buddhism in late Ming.
