Contemporary Practice Of Plant Pattern Decoration Of Celadon Of Yue Kiln In Tang Dynasty

After the founding of the People’s Republic of China,celadon of Yue Kiln began to resume firing.With the efforts of a number of experts and scholars,technical difficulties such as clay,glaze and firing environment were overcome one by one,and the restoration of celadon of Yue Kiln achieved phased results.After investigation,it is found that the production situation of Yue Kiln is stable,but the problems of more antique and less innovation are prominent,and the market competitiveness is not strong.At present,the improvement of decorative beauty is imminent.Tang Dynasty is the peak of celadon of Yue Kiln art level in history.By analyzing some representative plant pattern decoration at that time,we can excavate its advantages from the aspects of manifestation,cultural connotation and practicability,so as to help us broaden the design ideas in the practice of modern celadon of Yue Kiln works and product creation,inherit the ancient charm and innovate in combination with modern aesthetics.This paper records the practice process of my graduation work creation based on the excellent design concept of Yue Kiln plant pattern decoration in Tang Dynasty,including the choice of decoration theme and decoration technique,the intention of the work,the difficulties encountered in the creation,etc.Finally,the paper puts forward the thinking of the inheritance and innovation of celadon of Yue Kiln in the new era.
