The influence of bilingual education and bilingual experience on personal information processing ability has been a hot topic in international research in recent years.Executive function refers to the conscious control of purposeful behavior and the processing of highlevel action control, which usually includes inhibition control, cognitive switching and working memory refresh.Previous studies have found that bilingual experience has an impact on executive function, but the specific results are still controversial.Studies have shown that skilled bilinguals have a "bilingual cognitive advantage effect" in executive function. As an important influencing factor in daily life, emotions also have complex interactions with executive functions. In order to explore whether the impact of bilingual experience on executive functions is different in the more complex background of emotional interference conditions, and Can the bilingual cognitive advantage effect continue to exist? The experiment adopts the emotional Simon paradigm, the emotional cognitive transformation paradigm, and the emotional N-back paradigm.Three emotional stimuli, positive, neutral, and negative, are selected as emotional interference conditions.Through the joint exploration of behavioral experiments and ERP experiments,in order to obtain the specific electrophysiological characteristics of the subjects at different cognitive processing stages, and then obtain more reliable evidence support of behavioral and cognitive neuroscience. The experimental results found that in the three sub-functions of executive function, namely suppression, conversion, and refreshing, the main effects of the N1 component amplitude were significant.Specifically, the amplitude of the N1 component of the skilled bilingual was significantly smaller than that of the unskilled bilingual. The main effects of the groups are not significant, which means that under the condition of emotional interference, the influence of bilingual experience on executive function only exists in the early attention stage. The specific manifestation is that bilingual experience can improve the individual’s attention control ability and speed up attention processing; In the late task processing, the bilingual superiority effect disappeared;in addition, the interference effect of positive emotion was the most obvious among different emotional valence. |
