A Study Of Ding Ling’s Dramatic Activities In Yan’an Period

the drama activities in Yan’an period were an important part of the literature and art activities in Yan’an period,which played an important role in the victory of the Anti Japanese War and the formation and development of the popular style of literature and art.Taking Ding Ling’s dramatic activities as an example,this paper focuses on the reasons for Ding Ling’s dramatic creation,the ideological content and artistic characteristics of her dramatic works,the inheritance and development of the realistic tradition of modern drama since the May 4th movement,and the corresponding relationship with her contemporaneous literature.On this basis,it makes a necessary reflection on her dramatic creation.In addition to the introduction,this paper is divided into four partsThe first part expounds the reasons of Ding Ling’s dramatic creation and the main dramatic achievements.This paper analyzes Ding Ling’s dramatic creation from three aspects: the memory of watching the drama,the experience of participating in the performance and the needs of the times,and comments on her only three dramatic works,one movie script and some drama review articles.The second part expounds the ideological content and artistic characteristics of Ding Ling’s drama creation,analyzes the text content from two aspects of the theme and the characterization,and sums up the characteristics of her artistic presentation by taking the application of drama skills as an example.The third part expounds the relationship between Ding Ling’s drama creation and the tradition of May 4th drama and the literary activities of the same period,aiming to show that Ding Ling’s realistic creation techniques help to reproduce the social outlook at that time,and the establishment of literary groups and the prevalence of literary activities at the same period create a hot atmosphere for Ding Ling’s drama creation.The fourth part discusses the influence of drama creation on the transformation of her creation and the gain and loss of her creation.On the one hand,drama creation makes Ding Ling break through the single theme of petty bourgeois female writing,but also inevitably leads to the weakening of intellectual color and the weakening of female consciousness.In the conclusion part,while summarizing the significance of her dramatic creation,it points out that Ding Ling’s dramatic activities should be an organic unit of her overall literary activities.Therefore,the study of Ding Ling’s literary activities should not only focus on the creation of novels,but on the whole.
