An Exporation Of The Flower And Bird Painting Context Of QianXuan "Clear And Elegant"

The end of the Song Dynasty and the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty was an important period when the courtyard painting was mainly turned to the literati painting.Qianxuan was a key figure in this period,and he was good at all aspects of characters,flowers and birds,landscapes,etc.,but his flower and bird paintings had the highest achievements,and his flower and bird paintings were clear and elegant,quiet and peaceful.On the basis of learning from the tradition,Qian Xuan integrates his own feelings into his creation,making the picture unique.His artistic style formed by using thin and light color design methods is unique in the painting circle of Yuan Dynasty.It has affected the development trend of later flower-and-bird paintings and laid the foundation for the light color design of later flower-and-bird paintings.This essay takes the "clear and elegant" flower-and-bird painting environment of Qianxuan,a survivor of the late Song and early Yuan dynasties,as the theme.In the later period,"White Lotus" and other flower-and-bird painting works were analyzed and studied,and their influence on my painting creation.
