| Studying the classics is the necessary way and an important method to learn Chinese painting.How to continue the mainstream context,to inherit the tradition critically,to use it as a means to compose the current new era,to use the excellent painting techniques of the ancients and the spirit of brush and ink to express the vivid life,and at the same time to inject fresh blood into the traditional painting,these have become the research of contemporary Chinese painting questions that need to be considered.The academy-style flower and bird painting is an important genre of traditional Chinese painting,and the Song Dynasty was the heyday of the academy-style flower and bird painting art.I study and inherit the artistic style of the classic academy-style flower-and-bird paintings of the Song Dynasty through analysis,copying and other methods.I sorted out the development context of the academy-style flower-and-bird paintings in the Song Dynasty,and interpreted and refined the ideological value and spiritual connotation conveyed by the works.From the perspective of my own creation,this article expounds the influence of the Song Dynasty’s academy-style flower and bird painting on my creation in terms of artistic style and spiritual connotation.And applied the influence to my own creative practice,in order to keep upright and innovative while following the tradition of Chinese painting,and created contemporary flower and bird paintings with the unique aesthetic pursuit of Chinese people.The introduction part summarizes the reasons for choosing the topic,the research status,the research methods as well as the research significance.The first chapter is about the development of the academy-style flower-and-bird painting in the Song Dynasty and its Neo-Confucianism.This chapter briefly describes the definition of courtyard-style flower-and-bird painting,and expounds the development of courtyard-style flower-and-bird painting in the Song Dynasty,as well as the characteristics and changes of the artistic style of academy-style flower-and-bird painting in each period of the Song Dynasty.Moreover,this chapter explores the reflection of Neo-Confucianism as the royal mainstream ideology in the Song Dynasty style flower and bird painting.The second chapter is about the influence of the academy-style flower and bird painting in the Song Dynasty on my creation.This chapter expounds the influence of the spirit of "heaven and man are united as one",the spirit of "the investigation of things" and the connotation of "ethics" in Song Dynasty on the creation of my flower and bird paintings.Taking the famous work of the Southern Song Dynasty "Chun Shao Ming Xi Tu" as an example,through the method of copying and analysis,I interpreted and learned the employment of "business location" in the work,the production methods of the work,and the painting techniques.Meanwhile,from the perspective of my own creation,I will expound the application of the flower and bird painting creation methods extracted from the classic works in my works.The third chapter is the exploration of innovative techniques in meticulous flower and bird painting.This chapter expounds my exploration of the relationship between black and white,the techniques of birds and beast in the creation of meticulous flower and bird paintings,as well as the process of creating works in the process of exploration.It also analyzes and reflects on the problems I have encountered in the creation of meticulous flower and bird painting at this stage.The conclusion part is the summary of the whole paper.I hope that the research in this article can be helpful and enlightening to my future creative practice.I hope that I can continue to study the tradition,to face the future,and let the excellent tradition of Chinese painting continue to bloom with fresh vitality in the contemporary era through my own insignificant power. |
