Study On The Acquisition Of The Multi-function Word “Dang” Based On Corpus

The multi-function words refer to words with two or more grammatical functions.There are many multi-function words in Chinese,with complex meanings and applications,so second language learners often make mistakes when learning and using these words.Therefore,they are not only the focus of the study of Chinese ontology,but also the focus and difficulty in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Through the previous literature,we found that the predecessors did few researches on the second language teaching on the multi-function word"Dang",and there are many errors in the use of"Dang"for the second language learners.Therefore,we chose the multi-function word"Dang"as the research object.At the same time we combine the corpus of the Chinese Linguistics Research Center of Peking University and HSK Dynamic Composition Corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University to investigate the acquisition of the multi-function word"Dang".We firstly sorted out the meaning of"Dang"and divided it into verb(dang_1a,dang_1b,dang_1c)and preposition(dang_2a,dang_2b,dang_2c),we also sorted out the grammatical sequence of each meaning and made statistics on its output in the corpus of the Chinese Linguistics Research Center of Peking University and HSK Dynamic Composition Corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University.Then we used three single standards,that is,the method of correctly using relative frequency,the method of output rate,implicational scale,and the method of single standards combined with composite standards to get 7 acquisition orders,and comprehensive scores for the 7 orders.Then we got the acquisition order the multi-function word"Dang",that is,dang_1a>dang_2c>dang_2b>dang_1c>dang_1b>dang_2a.In addition,we analyzed the errors of"Dang"and divided them into morphological errors,semantic errors,grammatical errors and pragmatic errors,and made quantitative statistics on the proportions of the four types of errors.Finally,on the basis of the research,the second language teaching suggestion of"Dang"was put forward from the three aspects of meaning item teaching grade,meaning item teaching order,teaching emphasis and difficulty.
