" The First Song in Peer Gynt " was originally composed for orchestral music.Because of its subtle and delicate music style and unique melody,it was loved by the majority of music lovers.Then there appeared the piano playing version adapted by the composer,which is more convenient for the audience to play at home or at small music exchange.In this paper,the first chapter is the introduction,and the second chapter is the brief introduction of the work,which briefly introduces the creation background and music connotation of " The First Song in Peer Gynt " suite,in order to grasp the style and emotion of the work more accurately in the process of analysis and performance.The third chapter is the analysis of the music characteristics of " The First Song in Peer Gynt " suite.Starting from the sound effect of "symphonic",melody conception,mode and harmony of national style,it expounds Grieg’s creative techniques,and deeply excavates the rich Norwegian folk music elements contained in the works.The fourth movement from Solo,ensemble two aspects of " The First Song in Peer Gynt " suite performance skills are analyzed,the performance of their own practice and theory,in comparison and thinking to make a more appropriate design of performance technology,hoping to provide more valuable research ideas and information for researchers and performers.There are no completely similar people in the world,different personalities shape different playing styles,and different ways of handling and expressing music.Therefore,in order to achieve the goal of common development,the ensemble should seek common ground while reserving differences,understand each other’s ideas more consciously,and support each other’s voice and melody more technically.Only by getting balance from constant running in can the suite of "Pell Ginter I" be successfully displayed in front of the audience.
