| Populism originated in Russia in the 19 th century.From its origin to its development to today’s online populism,its characteristics have not been separated from the extreme binary opposition between the civilian class and the elite class.It is the construction of the civilian discourse and the deconstruction of the elite discourse.However,the practice of populism and even Internet populism is not in line with its concept,which advocates support for the civilian class and emphasizes the interests of the bottom people.In the process of its practice,the original intention of the construction of people’s discourse is often forgotten,and the deconstruction of elite discourse has become the most important part of its practice.This separation between practice and theory leads to the more intense contradiction between the civilian class and the elite class.With the development and popularization of Internet technology,the occurrence field of populism has gradually shifted from the real life to the cyberspace.Because of the characteristics of openness and anonymity,the cyberspace has spawned the fluke psychology of many netizens,and the spread of populism in the cyberspace has a deeper rage.Internet populism is good at coiling public opinion,using the banner of discourse protest to carry out discourse invasion through discourse occupation strategy,and attempting to participate in the decision-making of public events.Therefore,cyber populism can not be underestimated for the harm to society.Based on this,this paper takes hot Internet events from 2009 to 2019 as examples to study the spread of populism and its discourse resistance in cyberspace.The research context of this paper is as follows:The first chapter is the theoretical exposition: the evolution from populism to network populism.This part mainly carries on the theoretical combing and the elaboration,first analyzes the populism origin,the essential element and the characteristic.Secondly,it explains the theories related to Internet populism.Firstly,it analyzes the connotation of Internet populism,and secondly,it analyzes the new characteristics of Internet populism that are different from populism.Finally,in order to reflect the change from populism to Internet populism,it mainly analyzes the background of the change process,that is,the background of the development of populism into Internet populism,which is mainly divided into social background,technical background and cultural background.Through the analysis of populism and Internet populism as well as the transformation process from the former to the latter,the paper constructs the support of relevant theories,and at the same time,in the process of construction,the reader can have a deeper understanding of the source and development of Internet populism.The second chapter is the sample analysis: based on the analysis of 50 network hot events from 2009 to 2019.This part is mainly the construction of case samples and sample analysis,mainly focusing on the hot populist events in the cyber space from 2009 to 2019.In order to ensure the feasibility and scientific nature of the study,the paper presents a reasonable sample through the limitation of relevant conditions.First of all,the purpose and problems of the study are defined to provide direction for sample analysis.Secondly,sample selection and presentation are mentioned above.Finally,relevant results and reflection of results are presented through sample analysis,so as to provide fresh case performance for the contents of the following chapters.The third chapter is the discourse of resistance: the resistance of Internet populism.This part mainly carries on the case sample analysis of the previous chapter.The main object of the analysis is the discourse protest of Internet populism,which is specifically divided into the object of discourse protest,the mobilization strategy of discourse protest,and the appeal of discourse protest.It not only intensifies the case analysis of the previous chapter,but also presents relevant research results.The resistance of online populism discourse can be summarized as follows: online populism discourse resistance is a kind of resistance against the elite class through resource mobilization,emotion mobilization and discourse mobilization strategies under the appeal of interests,emotions and power,which is the spokespersons of the civilian class or the civilian class.The fourth chapter is the construction of influence: the influence of online populism discourse protest.This part mainly discusses the influence construction of online populism discourse protest,which is mainly divided into positive influence and negative influence.Through the presentation of relevant cases and theoretical elaboration above,the positive impact of online populism discourse protest is mainly manifested in safeguarding people’s interests,promoting social fairness and justice,releasing social discontent,stabilizing social order,promoting reform and development,and improving social governance ability.In the aspect of its negative influence,it mainly shows that it strengthens the opposition between the civilian elite,polarizes the social contradictions,disrupts the social order,weakens the cognition of the netizens,causes group polarization and induces the network violence.The fifth chapter is the risk prevention: the risk prevention construction of the network populism discourse protest.This part is the last part of the article,which is to take corresponding risk prevention against the negative impact of online populism discourse protest.The risk prevention of online populism discourse protest is mainly analyzed from its development background.In view of the social transformation background of its development,the risk prevention is mainly carried out from the perspective of promoting social equity and justice.In view of the background of technological change in its development,risk prevention is mainly carried out from the aspects of broadening public opinion demands and improving the media literacy of netizens.In view of the grassroots cultural background of its development,the risk prevention is mainly carried out from the aspects of cultivating healthy cultural soil and strengthening network supervision. |
