A Study On The Change Of Narrative Structure In Anglo-American Detective Films

With the development of modernization and commercialization of films,detective films,as a branch of commercial films,break the traditional single-type narrative mode.In order to cater for creative innovation,detective films are gradually separated from the earliest types of films and developed to diversified trends.The narrative structure of detective film has changed in its original form.It has experienced the development and change from the classical detective narrative,to the rough and tough man image,to the multi-type detective narrative.These three periods of development are not independent,and these three periods of development are not independent.But has the relevance,the orderly development.This development determines that the detective film is no longer the existence of a single individual in the original sense,but that it is no longer the existence of a single individual.Given more labels or more elements such as suspense,thriller,reasoning,and so on,the present discussion of the value system of detective films has shifted to a comparative study of more different types of detectives.It is obvious that the narrative structure of detective films is compared in the context of national culture.This article starts with the development history of Anglo-American detective film,and analyzes the narrative mode and narrative mechanism under its narrative structure one by one,Exploring the differences of narrative structure and giving Enlightenment for domestic detective films.The narrative mode involves narratology theory and the different narrative structures in different periods.The narrative mechanism is related to the characterization of characters,the appearance of characters and so on.The innovation of this paper lies in: on the basis of the research of the original western detective films,this paper compares the narrative structure of the detective films of Britain and the United States one by one,and finds out its regular characteristics in order to find out the characteristics of the narrative structure of the detective films of Britain and the United States.The purpose of this paper is to find out the difference between the early narrative structure and the modern narrative structure.It is hoped that the innovation and problems of contemporary detective films can bring some enlightenment and reference for the development of domestic detective films.This paper is divided into four chapters,the introduction is the significance of research and the definition of the concept of detective film;The first chapter with the help of literature research,historical research and case analysis,according to the order of development,the generation,development and maturity of the detective films of the United Kingdom and the United States to do a rheological carding;The second chapter analyzes the differences between the early and later narrative structures of the British and American detective films in the theory of classical narratology and post-classical narratology,and the third chapter is a comparative study on the concrete character image shaping in the narrative mechanism.The fourth chapter,on the basis of the above-mentioned research,discusses the enlightenment and reference to the domestic detective films.
