A Study Of Chinese Neologisms From 2015 To 2019

This paper was based on the Chinese neologisms included in the report on the State of language Life in China published by the Commercial Press from 2016 to 2020.Through the method of data statistics and semantic interpretation,this paper summarized and analyzed the semantic field,etymological types,syllable features,word formation and semantic features of Chinese neologisms.Through the analysis of the characteristics of Chinese neologisms,this paper summarized the four reasons for the emergence of Chinese neologisms,which were the change of social environment,the diversification of communication media,the perfection of vocabulary system and the change of individual psychology.After a comprehensive analysis of Chinese neologisms,the author found that all the Chinese neologisms in the selected corpus do not meet the basic requirements of entering the vocabulary system and need to be standardized.Therefore,the author discussed the principles of standardizing Chinese neologisms and the normative principles of newly coined words and four kinds of special Chinese neologisms.Finally,Chinese neologisms are dynamic,and the norms of Chinese neologisms should be constantly updated and improved with the development of the times.
