| The title, preface, and self-annotation of classical poetry are often the clues left by the poet for readers to interpret the poem, and it is more in line with the current mentality of the poet’s creation. As an important part of the interpretation of the poetry, the poet’s self-made paratext is gradually received by scholars. This article defines the title, preface, and self-annotation of Su Che’s poems as the self-made subtext of the poem, outlines the general picture of the self-made subtext of Su Zhe’s poem, analyzes the intertextuality between the self-made subtext and the poem, and further explores the self-consciousness manifested in it,and finally the factors that generate its characteristics are explored. The full text is divided into five parts for discussion:introduction, three chapters and conclusion respectively. In the introduction part,it sorts out the research status of the poetry’s self-made paratext and Su Zhe’s poems, briefly summarizes the research significance of this topic, and summarizes the origin of the poetry’s self-made paratext in the pre-Song Dynasty. At present, there have been some achievements in the study of classical poetry from the perspective of paratext, but there are not many studies on the combination of poem title, poem preface, and self-annotation as poetry paratext. In the research on Su Che’s poems, some scholars have pointed out the characteristics of Su Che’s poems, but they have not focused on the full picture of Su Che’s poems’ self-made paratexts. Therefore, the characteristics of Su Che’s poems’ self-made paratexts are worthy of further discussion. The first chapter outlines the general picture of Su Zhe’s self-made paratext, and analyzes the intertextuality of poem title, poem preface,self-annotation and poem from it.The new theme of Su Che’s poems is the diary-style poems centered on time records and the narrative poems centered on event records. These two types of poems are different from the traditional poems that are directly related to the content of the poems. The intertextuality is weak. The preface of Su Zhe’s poems can be divided into annotations to clarify things, record people to express feelings, and tell things to see meaning. The poem prefaces all have a strong intertextual relationship with the poem body.According to the different emphasis of the poem preface content, these three types of poem prefaces supplement the poem body, expand the background of the characters, and detail the things in the poem.A large number of self-annotations in Su Zhe’s poems can be divided into conventional annotations and functional annotations. The criterion for distinguishing the two is whether they have the function of interpreting poetry.Among them, the functional annotation and the poem text are strongly intertextual, which is the subject of Su Zhe’s self-annotation of poems. The second chapter explores the self-consciousness manifested in Su Che’s poems. The first is to compare the form of Su Zhe’s self-made paratexts with other poets in the Tang and Song dynasties, and analyze Su Che’s standard consciousness of abiding by the form of traditional poetry self-made paratexts. The second is to analyze the prominent poet’s time consciousness in Su Che’s self-made subtexts, and on this basis, explore the relevant content of writing daily life, recalling personal pasts, and recording footprints in the self-made subtexts of Su Che’s poems. The construction consciousness of Su Che’s individual poetry history. The third chapter discusses the factors generating the above characteristics of Su Che’s poems.Su Zhe’s self-made subtexts have the characteristics of documentary, narrative, daily, personal and normative as a whole, which are closely related to the background of the poet’s era.In terms of the influence of the development and evolution of the poetry’s self-impositioned subtext in the Northern Song Dynasty, the form of the self-impositioned subtext of Su Zhe’s poems was deeply influenced by Ouyang Xiu and Su Shi.From the influence of Song-type cultural background, the daily characteristics of Song poetry, the introspective spirit of scholars, and the prevailing concept of poetry history at that time all affected the characteristic generation of Su Zhe’s self-made subtexts to varying degrees. The conclusion part summarizes the overall style and status of Su Zhe’s self-made paratexts. |
