Item memory is an individual’s memory of a single item in an event,while connection memory is a memory of the relationship between items and items,and between items and background information of a specific event.Face recognition connection memory is to bind face-name matching information.Memory,agnosia,Alzheimer’s and other patients have associated memory disorders related to face recognition.It is of great significance to explore the neural mechanism of face recognition and memory.At present,the research on the brain function of face recognition mainly focuses on the study of psychological cognitive behavior and the activity state of isolated brain regions,while the research on the brain network of the advanced cognitive function state of face recognition is less.The neural processing mechanism of cognition.Based on the classic experimental paradigm of face recognition,this article uses complex network analysis methods and event related potentials(ERPs)technology to analyze the topology,node attributes and ERPs components of the brain network to explore different familiarities.The features of brain function under the task of face-name matching connection memory(unfamiliar face-name matching and familiar face-name matching)tasks of different degrees.With normal college students as the research object,complete the tasks of face-name matching connection memory and item memory(new-old face recognition)of different familiarity,synchronously record behavior data and 64-lead EEG signals,and test the beta rhythm and high level of EEG.Synchronous likelihood analysis is performed on the gamma rhythm signal,an appropriate threshold is selected to construct the brain network topology and the network node attribute parameters are calculated;the average superposition technique is used to extract the ERPs components.Using the analysis of variance method,statistical analysis of the brain network node attribute parameters and ERPs components(N400,LPC)amplitude,the results show:(1)There are significant differences in the face-name matching connection memory of the subjects with different familiarity,the brain area activated during item memory,the intensity of the brain area,and the average amplitude of the induced ERPs components;(2)The comparative analysis of the face-name matching connection memory of different familiarity shows that in the beta rhythm and the high gamma rhythm,the frontal,parietal and temporal lobes of the familiar face-name matching have significantly greater brain network node degrees than the unfamiliar face-name matching(such as beta rhythm,nodal degrees of frontal,parietal and temporal lobes are: 10.85±1.14vs9.00±1.46,9.69±1.30vs7.52±1.33,9.35±1.54vs8.42±1.50,P<0.05);The average amplitude of N400 and LPC induced by familiar face-name matching in the frontal,parietal and temporal lobes are significantly greater than that of unfamiliar face-name matching(for example,the average amplitude of N400 is: 4.54±0.34vs3.67±0.41,3.55±0.67vs2.32±0.33,4.17±0.25vs3.29±0.87,P<0.05).It shows that the functional connection of frontal,parietal and temporal lobes is enhanced,and the activation of brain regions is enhanced when familiar face-name matching connection memory;(3)The comparative analysis of item memory and connected memory(unfamiliar face-name matching)showed that the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain network node degree,the N400 and LPC average amplitudes induced by the frontal and temporal lobes were significantly higher when the memory was connected.In the parietal and occipital lobe(P<0.05),the temporal lobe and occipital lobe node degree,temporal lobe and occipital lobe N400,LPC average amplitude were significantly greater than the frontal and parietal lobe(P<0.05),In addition,the average amplitude of the frontal lobe and temporal lobe brain network nodes,N400,and LPC were significantly higher than item memory when connecting memory(P<0.05).It shows that the brain areas involved in project memory are mainly temporal and occipital lobes,while connected memory is mainly related to the enhancement of frontal and temporal lobes.The above results indicate that the face-name connection memory is mainly related to the frontal and temporal lobe activities,and the connection memory of different familiarity is related to the activation intensity of the frontal,parietal and temporal lobes,and the functional connection of the frontal,parietal and temporal lobes is enhanced.It is the neural basis of long-term memory.
