The Research Of “Bandian(er)+VP” Structure In Modern Chinese

In modern Chinese,“Bandian(er)+VP” is a commonly used structure.In the past,academic circles have done little research on this structure.On the basis of the corpus,this article will take “Bandian(er)+VP” as the research object and " Yidian(er)+VP " as the object of comparison,from both synchronic and diachronic perspectives,try to discuss the syntactic features,semantic and pragmatic conditions,conditions of use,diachronic evolution of "Bandian(er)+VP",as well as the similarities and differences with "Yiandian(er)+ VP".In the first chapter,this paper mainly explained the research purpose,significance,methods of this article,and the current research status of predecessors,and summarized their research results and shortcomings.In the second chapter,this paper mainly analyze the syntactic features of "Bandian(er)+VP".First,we analyze the structural characteristics of " Bandian(er)+ VP" and point out that VP has various forms.Then,the syntactic function of the structure is analyzed,and its asymmetry in the frequency of affirmative and negative sentences.Finally,we discuss the two cases of "VP + Bandian(er)" and "V + Bandian(er)+ VP".In the third chapter,this paper analyzed the semantic and pragmatic of "Bandian(er)+VP".Semantically,in terms of semantics,we discussed the internal components of "Bandian(er)+VP"-the semantics of "Bandian(er)" and "VP",and the negative form of "Bandian(er)+VP"-the construction meaning of "Bandian(er)+(also/both)+Mei/Bu +VP" and its full negative nature,and the semantics of the affirmative form of "Bandian(er)+VP".In terms of pragmatics,we mainly analyze the subjective performance means of "Bandian(er)+VP",which are focus highlighting means and contextual means.In the fourth chapter,this paper mainly discussed the usage conditions and mechanism of the "Bandian(er)+VP".First of all,we discussed the use of "Bandian(er)+VP" in negative sentences,and found that the choice of different negative words-" Mei/Meiyou " and "Bu" will have different effects on the semantic characteristics of VP.Then,on the basis of summarizing the conditions of using " Bandian(er)+ VP",we find that the structure is closely related to the modality of sentences,that is," Bandian(er)+ VP" can only be used in unrealistic sentences.Finally,according to Plamer’s classification of the degree of reality and unreality,this paper also compare the structure in terms of unreality.In the fifth chapter,first of all,this paper compare and analyze the quantifiers "Bandian(er)" and "Yidian(er)".Then,we compared and analyzed the similarities and differences between "VP + Bandian(er)" and "VP + Yidian(er)".Then,we compared and analyzed the similarities and differences between "Yidian(er)+ VP" and "Bandian(er)+ VP".Finally,according to the nature of total negation and syntactic function,this paper compare and analyze the negation of these two structures-The similarities and differences between "Bandian(er)+(also/both)+Mei/Bu +VP" and "Yandian(er)+(also/both)+Mei/Bu +VP".In the sixth chapter,this paper analyzed the evolution process of the "Bandian(er)+VP",and explained the reason for this structure from subjectivity and metaphor.
